Supermarket Sweep/Possible merge?

I feel that the article Dale Winton featuring Bar-codes and Alison Brown is notable as they are a music chart act and Supermarket Sweep (Will you dance with me) is a hit, I personaly feel that this artist and this hit deserves it's own article but for notabilty sake, perhaps merge. Would you perfer that? Regards, Mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 23:25, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but I don't get what you want from me. -Barras (talk) 14:37, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I would like you to explain why you think that the article Dale Winton featuring Bar-codes and Alison Brown is not notable as I feel it is and also if it is not notable would you work with me to merge it with article Dale's Supermarket Sweep? Mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 17:57, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I'm not going to search where I've deleted something... I do that fairly often. Please link the pages. -Barras (talk) 18:04, 1 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've created a article entitled Dale Winton via a solo effort and it merges Dale Winton featuring Bar-codes & Alison Brown. Mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 11:46, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Link the articles you want me to take a look at. Otherwise I don't care. I've currently more important things to do than searching for things. Thanks -Barras (talk) 12:32, 8 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Brigadier general

I just created the article, saved it and you deleted it. Can you restore? Thanks, --Chemicalinterest (talk) 16:45, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry and restored. I just followed the QDs and deleted it when I haven't seen that you made an article out of it. -Barras (talk) 16:46, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

A dilemma

I have a restriction on webpages that only allows wikipedia.org, not wikimedia.org. I want to upload pictures of flame tests for some chemical elements and place them on the articles. See en: File:Lead powder burning (5).JPG for an example of lead powder burning. How will I be able to do this? --Chemicalinterest (talk) 17:07, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I just asked a commons admin on IRC for help. My only idea is that you may use a proxy. -Barras (talk) 17:57, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Where are all the admins? I am monitoring recent changes and only see my name, as well as some IP's. What happened? --Chemicalinterest (talk) 17:59, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Our admins are naturally lazy and idle on IRC. PeterSymonds said that there is a way to move the enwiki file over to commons. You may should ask him directly. I'm not active there and don't know the how-to. -Barras (talk) 18:04, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Help!

I have had a page deleted by User:PMDrive1061 but can't contact him/her on their talk page (it's semi-protected). How can I get in touch with them? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MrRastaVibrations (talkcontribs)

Since PMDrive1061 is not an admin here, you may refer to the English Wikipedia. This is the simple English Wikipedia. I'm not an admin there, so I can't help you. -Barras (talk) 16:02, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Changing Username from Booby.monsta to Booby Monsta

Hi,

I would like to request a username change from Booby.monsta to Booby Monsta with a space in between if possible. Please and thank you.

Well, for one thing, this account has no other edits, so I'd recommend just making a new account. Also, I'd recommend you choose a more appropriate username. Kansan (talk) 02:45, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Exactly what Kansan said. -Barras (talk) 16:31, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Barras, it's at WP:PAD now, any chance you can find an alternative to ref 5 which is dead (or find it at archive.org)? The Rambling Man (talk) 22:30, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
I will take a look later this day at the ref...that's all I'm currently able to do. Really busy in real life... -Barras (talk) 12:30, 16 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Protected pages

Some idiot, me, protected User:Barliner and User:Barliner/Stars. Can you unprotect them please. Hopefully I will be able to start contributing regularly again and reapply for admin status, but until then will be editing and rolling back. Thanks Bärliner 18:56, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Nice to see you here. I think I've never seen you here since I started. Anyway, welcome back. I've made the pages semi-protected, I hope this is ok for you. If you want them completely unprotected, just give me a hint and I'll do this. I've also given you rollback rights, so it's easier for you. -Barras (talk) 19:38, 10 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just a question

Hey that anon that you blocked was he threatening you, Mr.Berty and I? If they were we could indef block them. Toboar (talk) 20:48, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

In general, we do not indefinitely block IP addresses. Kansan (talk) 20:48, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Not even after that? Toboar (talk) 20:49, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The talk page stalker is right. Ips are most likely dynamic so he has just an other IP tomorrow. It would be useless. -Barras (talk) 20:50, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

TrueToboar (talk)

Ahem?!

Why did you delete the John Reith page?! It did have meaning! He was the founder of BBC! Mr. Berty (seasons greetings!) talk/stalk 15:51, 19 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The content was: '''John Reith''', was the founder of [[BBC]] in 1922. <br> {{TV-stub}}

Congratulation! You have created not even a one line stub with almost no content but also one of the shortest articles I've ever deleted. Just create article with some information and not (sorry) such a crap. -Barras (talk) 09:51, 20 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
