Please don't request for deletion
changeHello, chenzw.. I want to say that Suvrat Raj is a blogger at little age. So, he may not be on linkedIN. But he is very famous in siwan district and bihar state of india. He is popular for his blogs in newspapers, jounnals, and many websites. So, i think, it should not be discussed for delection. So, please remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article. Thanks a lot..
- @Xdiwali: I am not saying that the article should be deleted just because Suvrat Raj is not on LinkedIn. However, there is a page on LinkedIn which says that someone else (and not Suvrat Raj) is the founder of XtGem. If this person is popular for his blogs in newspapers, journals, and other websites, you will have to mention in the article which newspapers and journals exactly that he is popular in. Please see WP:RS and WP:CITE for more details. Chenzw Talk 00:10, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you
changefor using the deletion summary I asked for :) Krett12 (talk) 01:33, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
- That was the only deletion reason applicable anyway. I hoped you had a valid reason why you needed to create a test page. Chenzw Talk 01:37, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

Bot
changeHello Mr. Chenzw! Please help me get a bot on Simple Wikipedia for English. Thanks — This unsigned comment was added by Upaltez (talk • changes).
- @Upaltez: I cannot teach you how to create a bot. You must have your own programming knowledge. Please see the bot policy for more information. Chenzw Talk 14:00, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you very much and God bless you big — This unsigned comment was added by Upaltez (talk • changes) at 14:44, 8 December 2015 (UTC).
Those vandalism barnstars
changeI imagine those edits qualify as RD2 for RevDel. StevenJ81 (talk) 15:22, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- Additionally, the edits to User talk:Upaltez and User:Xdiwali were page creations. I blanked them, but possibly those pages should actually be deleted as having been created by vandalism only. StevenJ81 (talk) 15:25, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yup, that's done. I will inform the affected users separately about the deletion. Chenzw Talk 15:30, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. Boy, you've been busy this morning! StevenJ81 (talk) 15:34, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
- Indeed, activity seems to be particularly high these few hours... a mere coincidence, I hope! Chenzw Talk 15:39, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

To not start an edit war, I'll say my objection here. I know that lightweight is not quick, but lightweight usually ends up resulting in quick. Krett12 (talk) 01:31, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
- However, as you can see from here, as compared to other popular desktop environments such as KDE (210 MB) and GNOME (180 MB), an installation of Xfce takes up only 15 MB. Furthermore, the usage of system resources is lower in Xfce. What I felt the article should be mentioning is that Xfce is a smaller software package as compared to KDE and GNOME. The smaller size (lightweight) also happens to make it run faster and more responsive on low-end/older computers (quick). It is not immediately apparent to the reader if the article mentions "quick" only. Chenzw Talk 01:35, 9 December 2015 (UTC)

I just had a thought
changeMaybe MonoBook would be a better skin for people who use Twinkle. (here's an example). I am considering it myself but would also like your opinion. Let me know on my talk page because I'm sending this message to other people as well please. Krett12 (talk) 16:28, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
- I can't give you my opinion, because I have always been using monobook. I don't know about how well twinkle works on other skins. Chenzw Talk 19:41, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
I'm not questioning your action
changeI'm just wondering why 10 edits qualified for the flood flag? Krett12 (talk) 03:09, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- I need the flood flag so that when I edit their user talk pages they won't get the "you have new messages" notification. Chenzw Talk 03:14, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- But that would be the NOMINORNEWTALK right not the BOT right--I think they got them anyway. Try re-adding it and sending a message to me, just to confirm Krett12 (talk) 03:16, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Indeed, my mistake. Special:Usergrouprights confirms it. That means I assigned the wrong right to myself then. Chenzw Talk 03:17, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, you should've used your bot account or made this one a bot. Krett12 (talk) 03:25, 11 December 2015 (UTC)

Why does your bot use rollback?
changeI have a little bit of botting experience and that seems like it would be more difficult and tedious to program. Krett12 (talk) 04:23, 13 December 2015 (UTC)
- That's incorrect. The MediaWiki API has one query specifically for rollback. Chenzw Talk 11:36, 13 December 2015 (UTC)

changeEveryone, including you, has called it that at least once. Practically nobody calls it the "Reciprocal rule" Krett12 (talk) 05:18, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- That doesn't mean that "reciprocal rule" is the "wrong name" for it. If people call you "Krett", that doesn't make your username "Krett", does it? Chenzw Talk 05:59, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- Well, Krett is my name IRL, also, pretty much NOBODY calls it the reciprocal rule, while I go by both Krett and Krett12 online. Krett12 (talk) 07:05, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
- This conversation is over. I have said my piece, and no one made an announcement about a change of the "reciprocal rule" name either. If you are not happy with the current name, by all means, start a policy discussion at WP:ST. Chenzw Talk 07:58, 15 December 2015 (UTC)

- I already did, but you didn't answer my question. Krett12 (talk) 05:40, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- I am not a checkuser, so I cannot answer your question. The correct person to ask is the administrator who tagged the page. Chenzw Talk 05:41, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- Upaltez was blocked because it was "a sockpuppet account", which is my impression that it is not their first, so I'd like it reverted. Krett12 (talk) 05:44, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- The blocking administrator (User:Bsadowski1) has already blocked and tagged other user accounts as sockpuppets of "Upaltez", so unless you are a checkuser and happen to have more information on that particular user, please leave it as it is. Chenzw Talk 05:47, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
- While I am not a CU, I am still pretty sure Upaltez isn't their first account because while being a sockpuppeteer is a blockable offense, it is still pretty rare. Krett12 (talk) 05:50, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

It is not. You don't seem to understand what being a sockpuppeteer means. What makes you so sure that Upaltez isn't his first account? You are not a checkuser nor an administrator, so you can't view the private data available. Chenzw Talk 05:52, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

changeThanks for all your help on the 'pedia! |
A little while ago
changeWe were dicussing rollback for bots. I am aware it has its own query, but you still have to get the "token" and undoing seems easier to me--but I'm willing to let you have whatever you want as long as it works. Krett12 (talk) 05:09, 28 December 2015 (UTC)
