May 2023 change

Please do not remove quick deletion tags from articles, as you did to "List of the Longest Living State Leaders", without a good reason. If you think the article should not be deleted, please add {{wait}} to the article and explain your reason on the article's talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 07:40, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

September 2023 change

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Supreme Court of the Philippines" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 08:42, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Its too difficult to rephrase every word from the English Wiki Jobzaiay13 (talk) 08:53, 26 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Jobzaiay13! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Related pages" instead of English Wikipedia's "See also", which you used in "List of justices of the Supreme Court of the Philippines". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Related pages" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help!   Hello, Jobzaiay13. It looks like "Court of Appeals of the Philippines" was derived from the English Wikipedia or another version of Wikipedia. If that is indeed the case, please make sure you add some form of attribution, either in your change summary or on the article's talk page. This must be done, even for derivative works, or the article will be deleted in time. More instructions on how to do this are at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. Thank you. Complex - Supreme Court change

Just for a quick reference: colloquially, referred, formal, Supreme Magistrate, established, through, establishment, superseded and predecessor plus Supreme Court <== those words should not be used and SC needs linked to the general term. The sentence structure also needs a lot of work. Then there is the question of if the SCofP is a single person as you claim it is in the lead but later say it is not.. and that is the first paragraph. It fails at every readability test as it is listed as for College graduate, age 23+ and the lowest grade level is 15+ with most over 30... It should be grades 7-9 or under 14ish yrs old.

To be acceptable. not only do you need to rework the vocabulary and grammar of the intro and check the facts, but you need to rework the entirety of what you are adding. Just copying and changing a few words is a long way from acceptable. Pure Evil (talk) 04:16, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks on your thoughts, but it is top hard to rephrase every word. Jobzaiay13 (talk) 05:09, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I am curious. Do you feel others should change the rules on what is not acceptable because you find it hard to follow those rules? If you can not follow the rules, perhaps you should not be editing here. Pure Evil (talk) 22:25, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
