June 2023 change

Hello, Karnataka! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Related pages" instead of English Wikipedia's "See also", which you used in "Stock fund". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Related pages" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! MathXplore (talk) 14:12, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, I'll make sure to do that next time. Tirishan (talk) 14:13, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Tirishan. It looks like "Stock fund" was derived from the English Wikipedia or another version of Wikipedia. If that is indeed the case, please make sure you add some form of attribution, either in your change summary or on the article's talk page. This must be done, even for derivative works, or the article will be deleted in time. More instructions on how to do this are at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. Thank you. Hi, I've just done this, please check if everything's correctly added. Thanks! Tirishan (talk) 14:19, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

July 2023 change

Your recent changes are vandalism, and this shows that you want to harm Wikipedia. This is your last warning. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from changing Wikipedia. Operator873 connect 19:32, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Operator873 if I am doing anything wrong, please explain Karnataka (talk) 19:38, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
(talk page stalker) Some of your articles were a little too complex, however I am simplifying some of them. For future, please make sure you are using BE 1500, and linking when appropriate. I definitely wouldn't describe the changes as vandalism though. --Ferien (talk) 19:45, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
After having been warned a few times and not taking the responsibility of learning how to contribute appropriate, it's absolutely vandalism. Please review WP:HOW and what simple English is before copying any more pages to Simple English Wikipedia. This is not "A Copy of English Wikipedia With Slightly Different Words Wikipedia"... it's Simple English Wikipedia. Operator873 connect 19:47, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Operator873, making changes in good-faith is never vandalism. Using nuke was excessive here, there are a few pages like The Frame-Up as one example I have already found that is certainly not eligible for A3. British Chileans is another one, that I have already restored and simplified further, prior to the nuking. --Ferien (talk) 19:50, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ferien I didn't nuke all pages. I nuked the ones that this editor didn't bother simplify. If you think they shouldn't have been deleted, you're welcome to use your mop to undelete and fix them all. Enjoy. Operator873 connect 19:54, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
In no message did I claim that you nuked all pages. I claimed that you used the nuke interface, which is pretty blatant with the summary of "Mass deletion of pages". The ones I have gone through are not even eligible for A3. This isn't about the pages being acceptable and me being able to clear up after you – this is about using nuke to violate the deletion policy while also biting newer editors. You really need to reconsider your approach to A3 (it is for complex pages that have not been simplified, pages that are already simple/very short pages are acceptable) and your attitude towards newer editors because this is a huge WP:BITE. I am noting this here for the record, because you have been dismissive to my concerns both on-wiki and on IRC. --Ferien (talk) 22:00, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Karnataka: Please remember to use movie instead of film on the Simple English Wikipedia. QuicoleJR (talk) 23:06, 19 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I'll stop creating pages and try to contribute in different ways until I get a full understanding of Simple English rules, very sorry Karnataka (talk) 06:05, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please, do not be discouraged from editing. The use of the nuke interface to delete your pages was not appropriate, as I have looked through a few of your pages and they have been acceptable. Alright, perhaps a little more simplification needs to be done on a couple of them, but that does not make you a vandal or mean you should stop editing. We cannot make perfect pages the moment we start editing here. I think the admin above owes you an apology for the bite here. Either way, feel free to work on more pages, and I will happily give feedback on them.   --Ferien (talk) 21:48, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
