I'm a little confused. This is called Wikiproject Years, so my first thought was that the project would address the year articles themselves. Yet the current week's subject is a century. Also, the stated scope is "organizing, creating and editing every notable event that happens in every individual year"; that would cover just about every article we have or could have. That doesn't sound like a WikiProject to me, it sounds like just generally improving things. I'm just suggesting that the scope might be too big. Am I missing something? --Auntof6 (talk) 18:29, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sorry for the confusion. Let me explain my intentions.
First of all, this WP focuses on all things concerning years. It's a broad topic, yes, but I'll explain in a moment here. When I mention the century, I'm talking about all parts of the century, which includes each individual year relevant to that century(eg., for the 4th century BC, it includes maintaining and making projects for the years 301BC, 302BC, 303BC, etc.
Second, you make a good point that I was thinking about a little bit yesterday. The heart of this WikiProject, in my opinion, is the project of the week thingy. Now when making the current biweek project, I got a little off-topic and made too broad of an approach by including the entire second century. When the week is over, however I intend of making a project of the month and do something like 1610s agriculture. Then, each week it will focus on something specific to that like like agriculture in 1605. MrMeAndMrMeLet's talk 20:12, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

@QuicoleJRSorry, I only saw this at night so didn't respond to it. It is not really active at the moment but then most wikiprojects aren't... --Ferien (talk) 18:30, 14 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ah, OK. Thank you for responding. QuicoleJR (talk) 18:31, 14 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
