Hello, Don't beat yourself up about your warning. I'd have probably definitely done the same thing, although templates are usually only used for obvious vandals or if they don't take a telling... Users who have been about for a bit are usually given the respect of a custom, friendly, message, so thats where my actions would have differed. I'd have poked the user with a diff showing what he'd done and gave him a gentle reminder. But really, no harm done. You followed the rules as they are written and everyone is allowed to make mistakes. Its part of life isn't it? Doing something and then finding out its not right you learn from it and don't do it again. Everyone here has done something wrong at one point or another so you're not alone. Anyway, the main reason for my message was actually to say Welcome! as I see no-one has done it yet. :) You're doing some good stuff so stick around and I'll see you somewhere else on the wiki no doubt. :) Kennedy ^(talk) 09:36, 13 July 2012 (UTC)

@Riley Huntley: by the way, if it helps, User:Hazard-Bot is scheduled for sandbox cleaning every 5 hours, at 38 minutes past the hour. I don't see much an issue with 2 bots resetting the sandbox (assuming they are reset to the same content), so it's up to you whether you want to maintain this bot task. @Riley Huntley: Actually, could you run it anyway (add to cron, or whichever scheduling system you use)? Count it as a re-trial without the bot flag. I will grant the flag if there are no issues after 4 sandbox resets. Chenzw  Talk  09:23, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
