Your changes to the Islam article

change

Hello,

your recently edited Islam, and removed three movements ( with [1] edit).Your edit comment spoke about no undue credit/small movements). As I understand it, about 85% of muslims are Sunni (source). Depending on who you ask, between ten and 25 percent are Shi'a; common numbers are 15%. This calculation leaves little room for the "other" movements, even if they may have been historically significant. As I understand Ahmadyja have a very high lieracy rate; the first Muslim Nobel laureate in Physics (Abdus Salam) was Ahmadi, so was the only Pakistani president of the internaional criminal court (Muhammad Zafrullah Khan).

In that context, I do not understand your edit, especially since we claim to be an encyclopedia.

I would therefore be glad if you could explain a little more (btw: enWP also lists these movements you removed) --Eptalon (talk) 20:56, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

See the discussion presented at: [2]. Yes, I know that that discussion hardly reaches an agreement never mind consensus, but I presented my rationale there, made my edits, which stayed for at least a little while... Supertouch (talk) 19:38, 9 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
