Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is a visual novel murder mystery video game. It was developed by Spike Chunsoft.


Students with unique talents called "Ultimate Talents" are forced to kill each other in a killing game. The story involves seeing who is the mastermind and escaping from the school.


Makoto Naegi, Ultimate Lucky Student: The main character.  He is a normal high school student. He entered Hope's Peak Academy by a lottery.

Kyoko Kirigiri, Ultimate Sprite: A cool personality who doesn't try to get involved very often.  Among the students gathered, only one talent is unknown.

Sayaka Maizono, Ultimate Idol: The main vocalist of a popular 5-member idol group.  Naegi Makoto's former classmate, first to be murdered.

Junko Enoshima, Ultimate Fashonista/Ultimate Despair:  A reader model for a popular fashion magazine.  She is the mastermind.  

Aoi Asahina, Ultimate Swimmer: A light-skinned sports girl.  A class mood maker. Favorite food is doughnut.  

Sakura Ogami, Ultimate Fighter: Characterized by raised muscles and stern facial expressions.  Best friend with Asahina.

Chihiro Fujisaki, Ultimate Programmer: A small girl like a rabbit. 

Celestia Ludenberg, Ultimate Gambler: A venomous girl who pretends she's a witch. She is good at deceiving others.  

Yasuhiro Hagakure, Ultimate Fortune Teller: A fortune-teller who is always at his own pace. The oldest person who has repeated a year three times.  

Byakuya Togami, Ultimate Judge: The successor to the Togami Foundation, a giant conglomerate. He is proud of himself.  

Fukawa Touko, Ultimate Novelist: A popular young female novelist. She is bad at socializing and negative.

Hifumi Yamada, Ultimate Fanfiction Writer: Charismatic writer. He likes animation and snacks.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru, Ultimate Hall Monitor: Quite serious and good grades. To try to obey a law or a rule at any time.

Mondo Oowada, Ultimate Biker: The head of a giant runaway race that rules the Kanto region. 

Leon Kuwata, Ultimate Baseball Player: A person with a talent for baseball.   He doesn't like to make an effort.
