Iowa's 3rd congressional district
U.S. House district in Southwestern Iowa
Iowa's 3rd congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S state of Iowa. The district is in the southwest part of the state including Des Moines and the borders with Nebraska and Missouri. The district was created in 1863. The people who live in the district elect a person to represent the district in the United States House of Representatives. The district has been represented in the United States House of Representatives by Democrat Cindy Axne since 2019.
