Instructions for fixing
changeSEE COMMENTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FIRST
- Open the article up and look at the page.
- In the article, you will see where the file link is broken. *There may be more than one.
- There are a few options you can do here:
- If it begins with File: or En: or anything like that, remove those and then preview to see if the image shows up IF NOT THEN
- Remove that entire line which includes the [[ and the ]] on the page, but only for that line.
- Preview the page before saving anything to ensure the broken link(s) is gone.
- Mark it as a minor edit.
- Use the edit summary of "REM broken link per User:PotsdamLamb/Project/Total Backlog Annihilation/Phase II".
- Save your edit and review the article again.
For an example, look at this link (apologies for having issues with diffs lately)

Questions or Comments
changeFeel free to leave comments or questions in this section, including any issues you have.
- I'd like to amend your instructions for fixing.
- If it begins with File: or En: or anything like that, remove those and then preview to see if the image shows up
- Maybe clarify exactly what to remove. You could give examples of before and after. You might also need to remove brackets to get the image to appear.
- Remove that entire line which includes the [[ and the ]] on the page, but only for that line.
- In some cases, you don't need to remove an entire line. The image might be coded in an infobox parameter in such a way that you can just remove the parameter value, not the whole parameter. It might also be coded at the beginning of a template parameter and have other data after it, in which case you can just remove the image, not the parameter or the rest of the parameter value. An example is in the allegiance parameter of this version of Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades; there, you could just remove the code that is supposed to produce an image, you don't need to remove the entire line.
