Hello there. I have moved your template, Template:AWB to User:Hazard-SJ/AWB as on simple wiki we do not keep our userboxes in the main Template space, but in the userspace. Thanks!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 22:41, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. I've also deleted Template:TW and left User:Hazard-SJ/Userboxes/TW for use. Thanks!--Gordonrox24 | Talk 23:58, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
Flooding
Please stop flooding without having a flood flag first. You have been warned before several times; the next time could result in a block. Kansan (talk) 05:37, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
Caution
Please do not threaten other users with blocking unless you are aware of all the facts, such as here. The user is rangeblocked, and this unblock request requires an administrator to action on. Thank you for your help, Jon@talk:~$ 09:59, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry. I was using what was available to me. I'll ignore those in the future. Hazard-SJ Talk 10:02, 1 August 2010 (UTC)

I can help you have a bot. (I run one)
Read Wikipedia:Bots first.

transcluding RfPs
Is not a good idea. Jamesofur doesn't even know yet that he's up for cratship, and it can't go ahead until he accepts. Regardless whether he had, it's usually up to the nominator and/or candidate to transclude. Do remember that sometimes trying to be helpful when someone else is handling things can be a bother; please be patient and see what's going on first. Thanks, sonia♫♪ 05:00, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Why you the template about the red links in the template Avatar: The Last Airbender? Nataly8 (talk) 06:41, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Thanks. Nataly8 (talk) 07:10, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Yes. When I will complete the article about Avatar: The Last Airbender, I will put it in peer review, like the other. Nataly8 (talk) 07:20, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Yes :) I put them 3 days ago. Nataly8 (talk) 07:24, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
OK. Nataly8 (talk) 07:35, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Oh, thanks. And for the simplification. Did you have some comments about the articles? Nataly8 (talk) 07:58, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
I will complete them (today). Nataly8 (talk) 08:19, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Gender? What is that? Nataly8 (talk) 20:22, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- Gender is what sex you are (i.e. whether you are a male or a female). @Lauryn (parlez) 20:24, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Note
I would advise you to be a little more friendly or at least informative when leaving other editors notes. Your warning for me10 did not say anything about why the username was disruptive, and I feel that removing the welcome was a little extreme there. Be careful about labeling users as vandals as well, as you did on Nataly8's talk. Inappropriate username? Yes. Vandal? No. Please bear this in mind. Regards, sonia♫ 07:47, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Sit 'n Sleep
Please re-read the quick deletion criteria. You were given a link to this company's website in the article itself, that and the fact that this article exists on the English Wikipedia more than confirm its existence. Existence is not the same as notability, however, so you might wish to do some further researching and perhaps nominate it for deletion at RfD. @Lauryn (parlez) 23:06, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
User talk:99.237.64.37
I removed the incorrect warning you placed on this IP's talkpage, and replaced it with a welcome note. The IP wasn't making test edits, but was reporting a possible vandal from the English Wikipedia here, which happens from time to time (you would have found this out had you bothered to investigate). This is not vandalism, or test edits, but a simple mistake. You might want to re-familiarise yourself with what is and is not vandalism and what is and what is not a "test edit". Consider this a warning. @Lauryn (parlez) 00:49, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
warnings
Please use warning templates correctly. That was not a test, it was rather instead a user who thinks that there was no vandalism after filing. —I-20the highway 00:51, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Note
This was a good-faith edit, not vandalism and using rollback was inappropriate. As suchI've removed rollback rights from this account. Please re-familiarise yourself with our rollback policies and make a new request for rollback once a) you can demonstrate that you know what a good faith edit is, and what is vandalism through a studious use of Twinkle and b) a suitable amount of time has passed. @Lauryn (parlez) 05:08, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Barnstar
Congratulations: You have been given a Barnstar!
For your small changes! Nataly8 (talk) 06:37, 11 August 2010 (UTC) |
Thanks! (Wow, my first barnstar!)
- Your first? Nataly8 (talk) 06:40, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, my first. I have given, but haven't gotten (until now). I always wanted one, but never asked, as I don't think you should ask for one. Hazard-SJ Talk 06:43, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
No, I didn't asked a barnstar. To take one you must be active. Nataly8 (talk) 07:09, 11 August 2010 (UTC) Firstly, what I was doing was "flooding" New Changes (commonly called Recent Changes). If I saw an admin, I would usually request the flood flag. In that case, I probably wouldn't have gotten the barnstar, as you wouldn't see my edits. Secondly, I have previously done quite a lot of reverts, and still, haven't gotten the "Rick Anti-Vandalism Barnstar". Poor me. Hazard-SJ Talk 07:14, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- You do realize Special:Contributions does the trick as well, the flood flag just hides your changes from showing up in the RC but doesn't hide it in your contributions. The recent changes can be expanded for up to 30 days of changes; seeing the rate of edits per minute on this wiki is not as high as en's your edits are probably still up there for a while. Nifky^ 07:19, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
I know about the New changes. What is the Rick Anti-Vandalism Barnstar, and why we need rollbacks? Nataly8 (talk) 07:18, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- It ain't about the barnstars. In the end, we're all here to build an encyclopedia, and that is its own reward. I received my first barnstar a year and a half after I joined Wikipedia, and if I had gotten discouraged because of a lack of barnstars I would have quit long ago. My personal motivation is seeing new users learn the ropes and become competent Wikipedians- whatever yours is, I hope it is not solely receiving barnstars. Nobody "deserves" a barnstar for doing a certain amount of work. sonia♫ 07:24, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
OK. Thanks. Nataly8 (talk) 07:27, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Sonia, you should have gotten the "{{MissingBarnstar}}". See you later! Hazard-SJ Talk 07:34, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Stop
Please take a break from "quick adding random category using hot-cat". You've been warned about this three times now, all but nine of the 50 (by default) edits in RC are you. Do you understand why this is problematic? @Lauryn (parlez) 07:01, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry. I was planning to stop now, at 7:00 (UTC), by the way. Should I request flood next time? Hazard-SJ Talk 07:04, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Yes. sonia♫ 07:04, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I will, but when I started, I didn't see any admin editing etc., so I just went ahead, and eventually, started "organizing" Wikipedia's articles. Hazard-SJ Talk 07:06, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- There is usually always at least one admin around; I'm around a majority of the daylight hours where I live (US-CST). Do you not see how 95 % of the edits in RC being you is a problem? People watching for vandalism will see nothing but your mass tagging, mass categorising, or whatever mass edits you happen to be doing at the time. I'm also fairly certain the only reason you do any of this is to bump up your edit count, which is not the reason you should make edits to improve the encyclopedia. The next time you do this, you will be blocked for disruption. I don't want it to come to that, but I'm afraid we're at that point. @Lauryn (parlez) 07:09, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- Going ahead with whatever you please because you think an admin isn't around (when they're not in the recent changes it does not necessarily mean they're not around) is a bad idea. You should always request for a flood flag before doing something that floods the recent changes that is approved to be done, patiently than taking a risk. Anyone can be blocked for doing this if it's not the first time for them. Nifky^ 07:15, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- I understand. If I request on AN and IRC and get no reply, is it possible to get it from stewards? If so, how? Hazard-SJ Talk 07:18, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

(change conflict) Hazard, we appreciate your help, but try slowing down and making larger edits. I myself enjoy adding cats, but I try to expand the article a little as I do so. This slows me down, and makes the article better (hopefully). :) Next time, Hazard, please remember to ask for a flood flag, or—even better—try expanding the article manually with references. Why waste your great potential on minor changes? I would hate to see you blocked. :( Even if admins/users are not changing pages, vandalism can pop up any time, so we all need to be on the alert, so flooding RC can be harmful. I'm almost always around at about this time, so you can ask me next time. There's no need to contact a steward: just wait a little and I'm sure an admin will come along and give you the flag. :) I hope you understand. Kindly, —Clementina talk 07:20, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- No, stewards only act in emergency situations where no local admin/oversight/checkuser is around when one is needed (vandalism, outting, libel, etc), not for situations like this. Do not ask a steward for the flood flag; if you don't get a response immediately on AN/IRC, wait until someone responds or you notice the user rights log in RC to begin, don't just begin on your own. The type of edits you are making are not time-sensitive. Be patient. @Lauryn (parlez) 07:22, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
- For future reference, from 4am till 10am UTC I am usually online, just not editing. sonia♫ 07:24, 11 August 2010 (UTC)

Flood flag...
I've removed it because I saw you do a simplification and a couple of talk page edits... which are fine to do, just not with the flood flag. Please re-request it on AN when you need to do something like mass categorize again... we just don't want other edits (such as talk page posts) mixed up with the rest of the bot edits.
