Welcome to Simple! I hope you are happy editing here and being a Wikipedian. Some helpful pages to start you off are Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents and Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines.

If you want to meet and talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Just remember that you should sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

We have a special page that describes how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles. Archer7 | talk 11:58, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

AfD templates

change

These should not have been copied here. We do not have "AfD", and already have templates. Simple English Wikipedia is not just another English Wikipedia. -- Netoholic @ 17:19, 26 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Merging and moving pages

change
An article or part of an article which you created was directly copied from English Wikipedia. Please do not copy articles from there because they are usually too complicated and can use templates which do not exist here. Thank you. PullToOpen Talk/Contribs 15:41, 14 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Categories

change

Try not to create categories until there are 3-4 things in them. It just tends to clutter things up otherwise. It's perfectly fine to leave a redlinked category until there are enough entries in it to make it worth creating. -- Creol(talk) 12:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of English Premier League

change

An editor has requested deletion of English Premier League, a page you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/English Premier League and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much.
