RE: Shortcuts and such

Sorry to butt-in, but I don't think that Creol is available. Help:Contents has much editing help links. I'm not sure where to find a list of shortcuts, but some common ones are WP:VAND, WP:ST, WP:VIP, WP:A, WP:RfA, WP:AN, WP:BITE, WP:BARN, and WP:CHU. As far as policies, we have similar ones to the English Wikipedia, but we write in simple English (see here and here), and we only images on commons. If you need help or have questions, just ask.
