Category:Oceania location map modules by country

Can you please move Category:Oceania location map modules by country to Category:Oceania location map modules?

Reason

They are sort of counted as countries in categorisation, because they are separate to Australia, even though they are technically not separate countries. --Ferien (talk) 17:56, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

QDs on user subpages

Hi, Math. I declined the QD requests you made on AE3907's subpages. I know that user is indeffed, and I know that they blanked the pages, but QD#G7 says, in part, "Any page whose original author wants deletion, can be quickly deleted, but only if most of the page was written by that author and was created as a mistake." (I added the bolding.) I don't think these pages were created by mistake, so I declined the QDs. I don't actually see a big problem with leaving these pages as they are, but if you think they should be deleted you can take it to RFD. -- Auntof6 (talk) 08:25, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

Hello, thank you for the actions. I once seen admins deleting user pages by banned users per QD G6 (and I think some of them were done by you) in the past. Is there a guideline or something else about these types of user pages? MathXplore (talk) 08:31, 26 July 2023 (UTC)

G6 is for general housekeeping, but we have another, more to-the-point option: WP:QD#G5. That one says, in part: "Created by a blocked or banned user, who is evading their block or ban when the page was created." I checked, and these pages were created before the user was indeffed.

In some cases, I think deleting user pages is justified. I just don't think we should be too quick to delete user pages, even of banned or blocked users, because one day they might get the editing privileges back. Not everything can be handled with QD. -- Auntof6 (talk) 09:06, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
