Rules? Rules?!?!? Where we're going, we don't need rules!

...just kidding!

As with a regular WikiCup, you pick a flag or local of some entity and compete under that for the tournament. And you can't pick Chivas Guadalajara, 'cuz that's the logo of the moderator (AKA me). Place your entity as a 24px picture followed by three tildes under "Entrants" below

The articles I want created and improved are those at meta:List of articles every Wikipedia should have (use this to find out which are stubs or redlinks) and User:Purplebackpack89/Vital Cities in the United States and Canada. Points are given as follows:

• 1 point for creating an article on that list up to 1,000 B
• 2 points for creating an article on that list 1,001-2,000 B
• 3 points for creating an article on that list 2,001-3,000 B
• ...&c...
• 10 points for creating an article on that list 9,001B +
• 0.5 point for each reference added in an article
• 5 points for expanding an existing article up to 5,000 B
• 10 points for expanding an existing article up to 10,000 B
• 25 points for getting a DYK on one of those
• 75 points for getting one of those to GA
• 100 points for getting one of those to VGA
• 0.5 points for reverting vandalism on any one of those articles

Bonuses

• +250 points if you can get a date or year to an article milestone
• +20 points for expanding or milestoning any article related to Boy Scouting (happy 100th!)
• +50 points for what I like to call the Thomas Edison bonus: A non-stub article at least once every ten days, plus an article milestone

Article milestones are DYK, GA, and VGA.

The Cup begins on AUGUST 1. The round robin round ends on SEPTEMBER 5. Teams will be divided into two divisions, Royal and Plum. On September 5, the two division winners and next two highest participants advance, and everybody else goes home. Then we have a semifinal round that lasts until September 12, and a final/third place round that lasts until September 19.
