I am in the process of making a user page which will be shortened. I checked the size, it'll never hit a MB. My intention is to explain math.

March 2022 change

  Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I do not want to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your user page, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's user page guideline. After you have read that guideline, could we discuss my concerns here? I'd like to hear your views, such as why you want the current page, and whether you might agree to change it to something else.

There are several ways we can deal with this matter:

  • If you can explain why your user page meets Wikipedia's user page guideline, I can stop worrying about it.
  • If you decide to delete the page yourself, please add "{{UserQD}}" to the top of your user page. An administrator will then delete it.
  • If we can not agree on what needs to be done, I can list your user page at "Wikipedia:Requests for deletion" so that we can discuss with other editors whether the page should be kept or deleted.

Thank you. Griff (talk) 12:29, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ayo Griff, this could be a problem user welcome! I don't know how to template edit, d'you think that'd be a good idea? Derpdart56 (talk) 17:50, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove deletion requests from articles, as you did to "User:A51.archaeologist". If you think the article should be kept, you can comment on the discussion page, Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/User:A51.archaeologist. If the result of the discussion is to keep the article, the closing administrator will remove the deletion request. Thank you. --Auntof6 (talk) 01:08, 17 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of User:A51.archaeologist change

An editor has requested deletion of User:A51.archaeologist, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/User:A51.archaeologist and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. MathXplore (talk) 16:00, 16 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for changing Wikipedia. We welcome all changes, but we can have only changes that are in simple English, and your new changes to "Fermat's Last Theorem" were not simple. Please see Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages so you can write more simply in the future. Thank you. -- *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 02:35, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thoughts change

Hi there A51, I'm Griff, an administrator here at the Simple English Wikipedia. I recently closed the deletion discussion for your user page and decided that the content could be kept. However, it is quite a lot of content, and I recommend moving the information to a subpage, where it isn't directly linked when a user clicks on your name. You can learn more about user pages and subpages through our userpage policy. In addition, I noticed that many of the newest changes you made to articles inserted complicated language and used sentence constructs that were not simple. While I understand that writing simply about complicated math topics can be difficult, this is a great guide on how to get started. We also have subject matter experts such as Macdonald-ross who are skilled in writing simply and may be able to provide assistance. If you have any questions, feel free to reply on here, speak to me on my talk page, or reach out to the community at large at our general discussion page. Thanks, can you help me with how a standard table of contents is created with source editing? A51.archaeologist (talk) 17:59, 7 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

April 2022 change

Please do not remove content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to "Sweet potato", without giving a good reason in the change summary. This is vandalism. If you want to practice changing Wikipedia, please use the sandbox. Hockeycatcat (talk) 09:32, 9 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not make unhelpful changes to Wikipedia, like you did to Sweet potato. The changes you made seem to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. That the plant's domestication is year 1 of the After-Development-of-Agriculture Calendar, is obviously helpful needed by the page. As is Shakespeare's mention of them. Potato thought he was talking about her. You, HCC, not preventing vandalism, you've just crapped on my wall.
