Please do not remove quick deletion tags from articles, as you did to "Abdul Latif Bin Hassan", without a good reason. If you think the article should not be deleted, please explain your reason on the article's talk page. Thank you. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:45, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Abdul Latif Bin Hassan. We welcome your changes to Wikipedia, but if you are closely associated with some of the people, places or things that you have written about on Wikipedia, you may need to read our advice on conflicts of interest.

All users need to follow Wikipedia's neutral point of view rules for content. People with a close connection to a subject often have a strong opinion about it. This may cause them to change the article in ways that make it either too flattering or too critical. They will most often not be aware they are doing it. Everybody is allowed to write about whatever subjects they want to, but they need to be very careful about making sure their changes are supported by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject you are writing about, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid changing or creating pages related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with. If you do decide to write about these things, be very careful with how you do it.
  • Be careful about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to give information about independent sources in deletion discussions. However, try not to give an opinion about whether an article should be deleted.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Be very careful so that you do not accidentally break Wikipedia's rules.

Please make yourself familiar with Wikipedia's rules and guidelines on content — especially those about neutral point of view, giving sources, and autobiographies. Thank you. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:46, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm Camouflaged Mirage (talk). I've just noticed that Your name and the pages you create is quite similiar, it can be seen as promotional..
This is not anything against you, and you are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our guidelines - we hope to see you editing again soon!

Our username policy says how you should choose your username. Put simply, you should not have a username that people find offensive, advertises a real world group or company, or is confusing (for instance, if it impersonates another user).

If you have already made changes and wish to keep your changes under a new name, you may ask for us to rename your account. If you want to, please go here and ask for a new name. It will be changed by someone once they receive the request.

If you think that Abdul Latif Bin Hassan fits inside the guidelines, feel free to tell me why on this page, and I'm sure we can come to some conclusion.

However, please be aware that the username you currently have, Abdul Latif Bin Hassan may be blocked from changing pages without warning — if your name is listed here, you may want to tell people why you should not be blocked on that page.

Thanks again,

RfD nomination of Abdur Razzak Bin Yousuf

change

An editor has requested deletion of Abdur Razzak Bin Yousuf, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2020/Abdur Razzak Bin Yousuf and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Eptalon (talk) 19:29, 19 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tell me sir, What is your problem? Abdul Latif Bin Hassan (talk) 00:37, 20 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

There are several prolblems: First of all, without references, it is hard to verify this person is indeed notable. In general, what we require is multiple sources, which are independent of the subject. For example, if the person was mentioned in a newspaper article, you could add a link to the newspaper article. See the Notability guideline for people for details. In general, a person doing the job he was educated for is not notable. I am not a Muslim, so I cannot tell you what makes a Muslim notable. Then there's the whole issue of televangelism: Is the person you are writing about well-known outside the radio/TV shows he does/did? - But all of this needs discussing withing the RfD...--Eptalon (talk) 07:47, 20 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
