About "the David Cook hoaxer"...
changeThat guy is actually The Deadly TV series. Details of the socking can be found there as well. You might want to rename the page to match the records on EN. Chenzw Talk 13:11, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
- Is it? Wow it is a small world I was reading about that guy the other day! I dont think I will re-name the page because it is much more easy to spot the page rather than the creator. Also the creator does not have an account here. Thanks for telling me, I did wonder if this was happening on other wikis aswell.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 13:16, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

QDs
changePlease be careful choosing QD options. I just declined your QDs on Cador and Sir Bedivere because none of the options you gave applied. For example, you specified "no content" on both of them. That did not apply because they each contained complete sentences with meaning that was enough for a stub article. (Sir Bedivere did need a little cleanup.) I ended up redirecting both of these to Knights of the Round Table#List of the Knights of the Round Table, because the only information in the articles was that they were each one of the knights. You could have done the redirect yourself, or you could have marked the articles as stubs. Make sense? --Auntof6 (talk) 21:04, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ok. I am not sure I agree with you but I will act diffrently from now on.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 21:25, 28 January 2014 (UTC)
- Where do you disagree? --Auntof6 (talk) 13:28, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Because the pages had no content at all and were pretty pointless.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 13:29, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- They did have content. The "no content" option is for pages that have nothing meaningful. Cador had "Cador is a knight of the round table." on it -- a complete sentence saying who Cador was. It's not much, and it needed wikifying, but it definitely was enough for a stub. That's sort of the definition of a stub -- an article that gives minimal but valid info. Sir Bedivere was a little messy, but also said that he was a knight of the round table. The only reason I redirected them instead of leaving them as a separate pages was that Knights of the Round Table already existed and had the same info. You might like to read the descriptions of the various qd options at WP:QD. The short descriptions in the Twinkle dropdown don't fully explain them. --Auntof6 (talk) 14:13, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Please be sure to add proper attribution to the talk page of this article. You can read about how to do that at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. You need to do that even if you wrote both articles. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:42, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
Vandal Bot
changeThis wiki doesn't have a vandal revert bot? Shame....— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cotevertu (talk • contribs)
- Yeah go ahead and make one and watch how I start a discussion you get you banned for ever.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 17:35, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- I am not telling you how to make a vandal bot!! I am getting very concerned with your comments.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 17:46, 29 January 2014 (UTC)
- No, no, I meant a real bot, not one that vandalizes... One that reverts vandalism. As I said, can you show me a bot that spits out "Hello World" so I know which programming language to use. :) Cotevertu (talk)
- @Cotevertu There is a bot that reverts vandalism at this project, but it's not working currently. Also please try to be more constructive in your edits. Thanks, --Glaisher [talk] 17:52, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

@User:Glaisher This user does not want a anti vandal bot, he wants a vandal bot. And what happend to our anti vandal bot any way?--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 17:57, 29 January 2014 (UTC)

Your vigilance on RecentChanges over the last few days has been fantastic! You've come a long way in the last month. Keep up the good work! Osiris (talk) 03:48, 30 January 2014 (UTC) |
Thank you very much. I shall certianly carry on patroling RecentChanges. --Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 15:42, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
Hi! I appreciate your help in reverting the vandalism at Teletubbies, but I am watching it right now and the edit conflicts are getting a bit annoying! Thanks! Thesixthstaff (talk) 17:36, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thesixthstaff, it is never good to tell another user not to change an article (unless, of course, they're vandalizing, which I assume is not the case here). If, however, you're committing to take care of reverting ongoing vandalism on an article, may I suggest you give a specific amount of time for how long you'll keep on top of it? We can't expect you to watch it every minute long-term. Even then, other users might also be looking at it, and you can't stop everyone. --Auntof6 (talk) 17:54, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Okay. I was frustrated and had a momentary lapse in judgment. It won't happen again. Sorry Auntof6, and sorry Mr Wiki Pro. Thesixthstaff (talk) 20:03, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oh I dont mind.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 20:07, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
Hello Mr Wiki Pro, I have confirmation of the data I put, on the Official Site of ECHR . --90.48.219.223 (talk) 20:18, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ah hello again. Thanks for referencing that change.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 20:24, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
That infobox you added here had no meaningful information in it, so I have removed it. Feel free to put it back if you're going to put something helpful in it. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:09, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Oh thats fine. I was tempted to tag it for a QD but insted I thougt I would try to improve it.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 09:36, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Adding "no sources" tags
changeWith articles about living people, instead of adding the {{no sources}} tag, please add {{BLP unsourced}}. There are different issues with unsourced biographies of living people, and having the correct tag on them helps us find them when needed. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:15, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- Ok. To tell the truth I had no idea the BLP tag exists. Thanks for that extra infomation.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 09:39, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- No problem. I know it's hard to learn all the fine points. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:53, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Yeah you right. One day I will get it right...--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 11:38, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Please graduate your warnings
changePlease graduate your warnings. If the last warning was a level 3, the next one should be a level 4. After that, notify an admin. What you did with gravity was to put a level 1 warning after a level 3 warning. Macdonald-ross (talk) 12:57, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
- I assume your talking about that IP adress. The IP had not edited in a few days so it may have changed to someone else.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 13:02, 31 January 2014 (UTC)
Thank you
changeHello Mr Wiki Pro. Thank you for your message, it is my first one in Simple English Wikipedia. If you wish, you can read my introduction. I don't plan to contribute, I just want to read and learn ne words and practice English by enjoying knowledge. In your introduction, you wrote that you fight vandalism and this is a coincidence because I am considered a vandal by French Wikipedia. I am accused from being too polite and writing too long texts in talk pages. When a French man is too polite or too generous, the others think he is pervert and dangerous. They are afraid. If you are a very kind American tourist in France, the French will think "Oh my the American guys are so kind !". But is you are French, that is suspicious and perturbing. English-speaking people (well I don't know all them but I have my sample) seem to be more pragmatic, they just think : oh this guy is very kind, maybe he is a simple mind : good for him. I blocked myself in order not to disturb them ("utilisateur en berne") but they got angry and wrote I mustn't block myself so they block me. They have canceled my too rich and long messages in order to protect Wikipedian from genius. Genius is very frightening. You don't know if he is a kind one or just devil... Now they are reassured : I cannot vandal their Wikipedia, whew! Well, I like France despite all that, my countrymen are zombies, they are afraid by living people. They need warmth, not genius. Regards, --Nicolas Messina (talk) 18:18, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
- Hello again. Don't worry about what the french Wikiedians think about you. I, myself am not very popular on the English Wikipedia. Enjoy learning about the English language :) --Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 18:32, 1 February 2014 (UTC)
