new categories

change

Thanks for creating the categories Category:1479 establishments and Category:Colleges and universities in Denmark. On the first one, you probably didn't know that we use a template to get the establishment categories set up correctly. I changed the category to use that template, so you can look at it to see how it's done.

On the colleges and universities category, you probably didn't know, but on this Wiki we want at least three entries in each new category. You can read more about this at Wikipedia:Categories#Is there a need for the new category?. Since this category had only one, I recategorized the article and deleted the category.

Feel free to let me know if you have any questions about this or anything else on this Wiki. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:07, 17 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Stone of Scone

change

The page you wrote, Stone of Scone, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Rus793 (talk) 14:19, 17 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Stone of Scone" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Please see: Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia Rus793 (talk) 14:22, 17 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

And a further thought: if you can't do all these things in the time you have available, you can store a possible new page on a sandbox page for later work, using the label "user:Johnsoniensis/whatever". Macdonald-ross (talk) 15:28, 17 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

River Taw: As you left it, the language was far too complex and terma were not linked. It has taken the efforrts of two other editors to get it in shape, even roughly. Now, I'll be frank and say we just do not have the time to go on doing work which you should have done in the first place. You need to edit more slowly, and put new pages in good order. Don't leave essential work to other people: we have quite enough to do without having to correct all your new pages.

However, I'm glad to see more pages on English and Welsh geography. Slow up, and we'll all be happier. Macdonald-ross (talk) 07:57, 18 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced Article

change

Hello, the page you recently created Middle High German did not have any sources. I made some Google search of it and added two sources. I will link it to its other Wikipedia different languages section on Wikidata.

Next time you create an article, make sure to give it reliable verifiable sources or else, it will be tagged or simply deleted without notice by an admin.

I hope my efforts help. Best regards MyPeople76 (talk) 15:35, 8 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
