Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.
If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. in the deletion log I marked user request, so I guess the resp. user requested it (for example by blanking). If you have a use for that template, it can be restored; it would however need to be moved to your user space. --Eptalon (talk) 09:29, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
In general, I leave user-created templates (in user-space) alone. That case was just that the user requested for it to be deleted. So go ahead and create it. --Eptalon (talk) 11:29, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry if I was not clear. What I tried to say was: If you make that template again, I will not delete it. I will delete the template only if you say I should delete it. --Eptalon (talk) 13:07, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Muddyb Blast Producer. As you will known from the other Wikipedia, there is usually not just one person writing a specific article. There is one person who starts the article, then many people change it; they contribute (add) what they know. In that way, Simple English Wikipedia is the same as other Wikipedias. To be able to work with this wikipedia, it is therefore not important what your English is like. This is still a Small Wikipedia. We need all the help we can get, especially from people outside of Europe and the US.
In short, do not be afraid to add things, because you think your English is bad. It is important that you write about those subjects that are of interest to you. Fixing the language to look better is a small thing to do, and can be done later.
So, please do not stop contributing here because you think your English is bad. You do not what to know what my Swahili is like. :) --Eptalon (talk) 14:02, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I also agree with Eptalon. This Wikipedia is specifically made for people like you, who have trouble speaking English. You are more than welcome to continue contributing here. If you need anything, you can always ask me on my talk page. I hope to see you contributing in the future! Razorflame14:16, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I deleted that article (did not make sense/was vandalism); go ahead and make a new one; hopefully it will be better (And no, I won't delete that). Many articles are deleted the first time, because they are hoaxes/vandalism/tests. Only on the second (or perhaps even more) attempt does the actual article get created. --Eptalon (talk) 16:09, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello, if you do not know in what category to put an article, add the {{uncat}}. All articles with that template are in a special category. That way, a later editor can add a good category. Thanks. --Eptalon (talk) 12:55, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Here's the code for the userbox. You need to change the day and the month to reflect the day that you joined the Simple English Wikipedia before putting it onto your userpage:
This user has been on Simple Wikipedia for 17 years and 25 days.
The background is still the same, it might look different with the white font. If you still don't want the black font, here's some different font colours:

Hello, yes I am here (-;. In my poinion, critically acclaimed means that a group of people (called critics) went there, saw the performance (as in: a theatre performance, or a film in the cinema), and that they found it good.
see http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/acclaimed for the meaning of acclaimed.--Eptalon (talk) 15:18, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

A checkuser is a user who is able to see all the accounts registered to an IP address, or all of the IP addresses a certain account uses. This position is regulated quite strictly, as it is close to an invasion of privacy. You have to be 18 years of age or older and you have to be an administrator on the Wikipedia that you would like checkuser permissions on. Furthermore, you have to have at least 25 support votes and at least 70% support. Hopes this helps. Razorflame22:00, 25 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

We as a community have decided that users who want to use userboxes should keep them inside their respective namespaces and not have them in the template or main articlespaces. Please move the userbox that you have just created from the template namespace to your own userspace. Thanks, Razorflame16:30, 2 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

In reply to your comment on Eptalon's talk page, he struck your vote, not because of sockpuppettry, but because of low activity. We are currently discussing the matter of your vote and the votes of several other people. You should not feel that your opinion is not allowed. Your opinion is as important as the opinion of everyone else and should be taken into account just the same as other people's opinions. -- Creol(talk) 07:24, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hello, I am a new bureaucrat, this is the first RfA I close. The idea behind the "vote-striking" is to get rid of those accounts who clearly only came here to vote; your account has a "low activity", nevertheless you edit here regularly. I therefore unstruck you vote, It will fully count as a support vote. I am sorry for the inconvenience I caused. --Eptalon (talk) 09:04, 23 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hello, Kennedy. Of course yes, I do have such an age (kidding). I was born April 25 in the year of 1983 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania!! But I made it intetionally. And the age is nothing to me, cause when I say, the number of my age is this, there's nothing I'm goint to get, and when I'm not saying anything about my age, also there's nothing I'm going to get!! Means both useless (BIG SMILE). But how things goes? In my side, it's okay!! Cheers,--Mitaa ya Cut RekOrds (talk) 09:04, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Relegation (link) in sport, is where a team moves down a league. Take the English football leagues, the team who finishes last is "relegated" to the Championship. Do you understand now? I can try to explain it more if you need... Kennedy(talk)10:19, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
It is no problem, you are not bothering me :) Also, your English is OK, I can understand what you are saying, so not a problem. If you need any help, or want to ask me any questions, feel free. Regards, Kennedy(talk)10:53, 17 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello Muddyb! Sorry about the delay. I have made a start on the article, I don't have much time at the moment to write a full article, so have a look through, and if you get stuck, let me know and I will try to clarify more. Regards, Kennedy(talk) 15:12, 27 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi - we have not talked before but - in reply to your message on my talk page...
I will stay active elsewhere on wikipedia - just not here at Simple English.
I am not greedy for admin tools - I did not ask for the tools but I accepted the nomination.
In opposing my RfA people have shown they do not like my edits. They have not said how I will make bad use of the tools. I will not stay where people do not think my contributions are useful.
