RfA

Please do not close RfAs as only bureaucrats are allowed to close them. We don't allow for non-crat closures. RfAs are not like requests for deletion, crats sometimes choose not to close them on time and let them run longer etc. In this case it probably wouldn't have happened but by closing it as a non-crat you can cause issues. Actually I didn't know that we, general users aren't allowed to close RfA's. Anyway I saw this English Wikipedia and thought about being bold, that's why I closed the RfA. Okay in future I'll not close RfA's until I become a crat here.--Pratyya ^(Hello!) 10:49, 6 June 2013 (UTC)

Your changes to Template:Talk archive

Please stop whatever you are doing to that template. You are not particularly experienced in the intricacies of template syntax, and your recent edits messed up the existing 400+ transclusions. Red-link lists

I'm concerned about the red-link lists you brought over from English wiki. An example is List of India Test cricketers, where we see over 300 red links and only one blue link. I see two problems:

1. All the data is fully present on English wiki, fully blue-linked. Everyone knows they can go there to find the information. Nothing is achieved by having a version which doesn't work on this wiki.
2. The list makes us look like a bunch of idiots who don't know what we are doing. I'm sure you know there are people on WP who would like to close us down...
3. We might change the list to "List of India Test captains", and add short biog pages of some of the better-known captains.

broken images

I am in the process of finishing up the cleaning up the backlog for broken images. There are pages listed at Category:Pages with broken file links in your userspace. As you are an active user, I don't want to go around editing your userspace without permission, advanced warnings, etc so I am wondering if you could look at the pages in question and clear the errors. --Creol(talk) 16:55, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
