Copying articles from English Wikipedia change

Hello, Deezy, and welcome to Simple English Wikipedia. Thank you for creating the articles Lance Gross and Michael Ealy. When you bring articles here from English Wikipedia, you must do two things. One is to simplify the text of the article. It is not always enough to just remove parts of it. You need to be sure that the language remaining is simple. An editor had asked for those two articles to be deleted because the language was not simplified, but I made them more simple instead. Next time, you could do that yourself. You can read more about how to write simple English at Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages.

The other thing you must do is give credit to English Wikipedia as the source of this article. This is a legal requirement. You can read about how to do this at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution.

Feel free to ask if you have any questions about either of these two things. --Auntof6 (talk) 23:54, 12 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your RFA change

Hello. Sorry for opposing your RFA but you did not meet the requierments for adminship. As I said on the RFA page, People are much more likely to support if you have experince in dealing with vandalism, Articles for deletion ect.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 20:20, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

It is understandable. I will try again later I guess. When I have more experience under my belt Mr Wiki Pro .--Deezythegr8 (talk) 14 January 2014
And as I said on the RFA page I will happily support when that day comes.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 01:02, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your userbox change

Hello. On your userpage you have a userbox saying you have been here for 1 year and 10 months. Are you talking about this wiki or the en.wiki? Because it seems that you are attempting to trick fellow editers that you have been here long enough to be an admin.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 21:44, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Also, please state the name you go by on the English Wikipedia, as there is no user on it, that goes by Deezythegr8. --Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)
No trick involved. Apologies if it seems to be that way. I've been an active wiki user for that period of time. Should I change to how long i've been on simple wiki?? Mr Wiki Pro .--Deezythegr8 (talk) 14 January 2014

Hello. I would suggest you do because people are likely to think that your attempting to trick them.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 00:53, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey I know i'm not experienced enough for admin, but what about importer? Mr Wiki Pro .--Deezythegr8 (talk) 15 January 2014

Hello change

Hello User:Deezythegr8. I am glad to see you editing again today. I noticed your comment about wanting to become an importer. Unfortunately you do not have enough experience. The minimum time requirement is to have been editing for three months, have made acquaintances with a lot of other editors, and have made over 300 edits. I do not mean to dampen your great attitude about wanting to help Wikipedia, but as of now, I do not believe you are qualified for any of the special permissions. This doesn't mean that there isn't ways you can help though. Below is a list of stuff you could do to help out Wikipedia.

After you've had enough experience and time on Wikipedia, I am sure that you will be granted Special permission, but not just yet. If you have any questions, please ask below. --Pending(tell me I screwed up and where) 13:47, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I appreciate your response about becoming importer. I shall now just contribute as I can. Until the time comes. Thanks! Pending .--Deezythegr8 (talk) 15 January 2014
It is no problem. I am gad to help. If you want any help or want to know how to do something, I'll be much obliged to tell you. --Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)
Deezy, you are probably not ready to become an importer, but Pending has given you wrong information. Some people may prefer to see those things before supporting an editor's request for rights, but they are not requirements. The only requirements for rights are given at WP:RfP, and there are none for importer rights. In practice, we don't usually give that right because it can cause a lot of trouble if used incorrectly, and users can request imports at WP:AN. If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask at WP:AN. --Auntof6 (talk) 18:30, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I apologize, it seems I never had to know about those requirements, and Pending was kind enough to point me to this link. I will look at linking there from the RfP page. --Auntof6 (talk) 18:40, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey there User:Deezythegr8, I just wanted to say thanks for what a great job you've done so far. You deserve a big pat on the back…or some cookies.-Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)

Somebody has given you some cookies! Now enjoy them!
I truly appreciate the recognition of my work! Thank you Pending.-- Deezythegr8 (talk) 17 January 2014

Biker Mice from Mars change

Thanks for this new article. It still needs some simplifying -- are you planning to take care of that? The main thing is that the sentences need to be shorter, but there are also some words that could be simpler. Also, please remember to give attribution on the talk page to show that the article was based on the enwiki article. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 19:16, 17 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

In fact, I'm seeing the same thing with some other articles you created. Some of them probably qualify for quick deletion as unsimplified copies of the enwiki articles. Before you create any more articles, please simplify and give attribution for the ones you've already done. If you can give me an idea of when you could get to that, I will wait a bit before QDing them. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:19, 17 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Starting on that now Auntof6.-- Deezythegr8 (talk) 17 January 2014
Great, thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 01:20, 18 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Demetrice Jackson change

An editor has requested deletion of Demetrice Jackson, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2014/Demetrice Jackson and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Beefball Talk 19:28, 6 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
