Thanks!

Thanks for adding images! That's something we could use a lot more of. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:41, 22 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Admin

Lord help you....And read read read. ;) -DJSasso (talk) 23:13, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have my congratulations. You also have my condolences, because it is sometimes hard for an admin to find time to do the work they'd like to do when the admin work heats up! --Auntof6 (talk) 23:48, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Congrats on the Mop, unfortunately we have needed to use it increasing more often. -- Enfcer (talk) 23:52, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thank you all very much! eurodyne (talk) 00:23, 6 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Congrats, Eurodyne! You are officially an admin! Angela Maureen (talk) 02:19, 6 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

thanks for the email, Eurodyne

Hi, Eurodyne. The email that you sent taught me that I shouldn't set time limits or be over eager. I'm gonna wait until I'm ready for adminship. Until then, I'm gonna just revert edits and make articles like I usually do. Angela Maureen (talk) 06:05, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

RFDs

Remember when you're closing RFDs to move closed RFDs down to the "Recently closed" section of the RFD listings. Additionally, if you close one as keep, you need to go to the article and remove the RFD template. Then, go to the article's talk page and add the {{oldrfd}} template with the result of the RFD. Let me know if you have any questions, Only (talk) 14:55, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Sure thing! Thanks for the heads up. eurodyne (talk) 16:29, 11 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Late news

So...I heard someone got admin? Congratulations! Sorry it took me so long, I'm not too active here anymore. Laptop Fizz (talk) 02:29, 12 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Good catch

You did the right thing by reverting an IP's edit of the comment made by a wikipedian [1]. Keep up the good work. Sju hav (talk) 16:42, 14 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't we warn before blocking? QD notices are not warnings. --Auntof6 (talk) 02:51, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

At the time of blocking, they were actively creating bad pages. I'll take this into consideration next time and issue warnings before giving out a block. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. eurodyne (talk) 04:28, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I see, thanks. I've blocked without warning in cases like that, too. These cases always remind me of a situation that happened at a company I worked for a !ong time ago. They were having trouble with people hacking their system and wanted to prosecute the hackers. Their lawyer advised them that they had no grounds for prosecuting if the hackers weren't told that they weren't allowed on the system. They had to create a message that people would see first thing when they got on the system, saying who was and wasn't allowed in. It was necessary, but it meant that even the people who did belong there had one more screen to go through before getting in. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:45, 28 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for blocking that user. However, you forgot to actually give a reason in the block log. Also, please remember to also block the IP’s sock account. Thanks. —Glendales 23:06, 30 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
