Prevention: Put a false Page Protection template on your user page. This will stop some vandals from even trying. Put your user page in a template, so when its blanked, you can simply add the template back. You can also put your user page in a table, which breaks visual editor (Shown in my page on enwiki). Also add a really long comment in the source to make vandals frustrated. 💠Ely - Talk💠 15:06, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

@Ferien, Hockeycatcat and Elytrian Although sometimes in my opinion, indef protections are the only way to prevent disruption. Antandrus' enwiki talk page has since been indef protected because of GRP ever since this year because the cons of leaving it open outweigh the pros. When my English Wikivoyage user talk was protected for about 5 months, I did have another "IP talk page", for anons to message, so my main talk doesn't get disrupted (I checked that page every day or so). I'd ideally want to do the same here but...
