Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Rollback/Archives/2022/July/Notdone

I need rollback so I can revert vandalism faster and in case there's too many vandalism revision. There is no even need to leave an edit summary. Kaseng55 (talk) 05:06, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: With only 53 edits in the last year and until today the last edits were made on March 25, 2022 I would recommend a no as no other contributions have been made. Da LambTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 05:10, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. Since I may be busy and not be on Wikipedia for like a month or so. So I'll keep using Twinkle. Kaseng55 (talk) 05:12, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would've supported had you had rollback on another WMF project, but it seems you don't, so I agree with PotsdamLamb. SHB2000 (talk) 05:17, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Kaseng55 Twinkle works even with rollback rights it still puts in the edit summary. I use it as well. Again it’s just my opinion, the final decision is up to an admin. But I believe we do have certain criteria to meet which should be on the main page for permissions. Da LambTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 05:18, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Here are the criteria for the permissions [[Wikipedia:Rollback feature#Getting rollback. For future reference. Da LambTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 05:21, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
RedWarn works very good for me on English Wikipedia
I tried to use RedWarn in Simple English Wikipedia and it seems that it doesn’t work. Does it require rollback rights? Kaseng55 (talk) 05:25, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah redwarn isn’t configured for here. Let’s move the conversation thought. As this isn’t really a talk page. I’ll post on your talk page. Da LambTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 05:27, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not done I don't see much history of vandalism fighting yet, but I do see evidence of edit warring on Twinkie. You're welcome to ask again when you've done more of that. -- Auntof6 (talk) 05:53, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@PotsdamLamb, @SHB2000: Requests here are not discussions and do not require support or oppose opinions. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 05:55, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6 That was a lot of us. GRC was around and I was on IRC with admins so as he triggered filters I let them know so he could be blocked. He settled for a bit then came back. Jiniffer is back too. I know it’s not a yay or nay from us but I just wanted to point out to the editor about the requirements to become one. Da LambTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 06:47, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly what I was going to say. SHB2000 (talk) 12:49, 20 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SHB2000 and PotsdamLamb: Still edit warring to some extent. It is technically allowed in m:WMFBAN but it is a huge waste of your own time and gives him more attention by flooding the page history. If you want, best thing to do is ignore him. Follow block, revert, ignore, because he edit wars. Don't want to discourage you from vandal fighting but my advice with GRP for the most part is just let an admin get to it. They will be able to bot rollback it which will hide it from recent changes and waiting for an admin to come around will stop making messes like this. Reverting him alone is literally no use and does more harm than good. If you want any more detail then feel free to email me but I don't think any more detail is necessary here. --Ferien2 (talk) 21:49, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ferien2 No clue what you are talking about. This was already handled a week ago. lol Da LambTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 21:51, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
PotsdamLamb, I was just addressing it as you seemed to be saying you were also involved on the edit war on Twinkie? --Ferien2 (talk) 21:55, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
