Copying from en change

Please do be aware that you can't just copy things over from en without attribution. It creates copyright issues. Also everything has to be simplified as we are a much different wiki than en. -DJSasso (talk) 14:36, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, I will improve.--Kc kennylau (talk) 14:38, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

RfA change

Hello, I have closed your request for adminship as unsuccessful. It was clear that people believe your request was too soon, and that you need more time here to learn how we work. Please take this as us looking for you to stay and improve, and don't take it personally. If you need help with anything you can ask me, or at simple talk, or if you're really stuck just edit your talk page with {{helpme}} and someone will be around to answer your question. Good luck! Kind regards, Kennedy (talk • changes). 13:41, 29 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Template:LOAALSH change

The page you wrote, Template:LOAALSH, has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page was deprecated or replaced by a newer template and are completely unused and not linked to. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. Auntof6 (talk) 14:12, 9 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Interwiki redirects change

Hello there. I'm just letting you know that you can not redirect from one Wikimedia project to another as it does not work correctly. Happy changing, -Orashmatash (talk) 00:16, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

What problem?--Kc kennylau (talk) 00:34, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Doc pages for templates change

Hi there. Could you please remember to copy over the /documentation pages for new templates you create? Osiris (talk) 01:03, 17 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

So, Auntof6 ended up volunteering time for this, and it's done. I have to ask, however, you've created another bunch of templates without documentation (instruction) pages. Can you please copy those over? Osiris (talk) 10:46, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
Not useless, because I have no idea how to use them without them. I have to go over to the English Wikipedia to learn how they work. Osiris (talk) 10:56, 22 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Follow up on templates change

I've done the batch of IPA template documentations for you. They didn't take too long. The other set of templates you made:

...were very complex prose templates that you copied without any simplification or attribution. Given that they were so complex in their language, I think it would be better if you didn't use templates for this kind of thing and just write the words out (simplified of course) on the two/three individual pages you want to use them on. If you have any questions, just leave me a message on my talk page. Regards, Osiris (talk) 22:25, 23 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I've combined all the templates you wanted to import into one, switch-based template. It's located at User:Osiris/consonants for the moment. This is much less messy than having all those individual templates. If you can simplify the output strings, I will move it to the mainspace. I would simplify them myself, but I'm afraid I'm no linguist. Osiris (talk) 15:37, 24 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay, I've moved it to the mainspace. It's still incredibly complex (I'd argue that even native speakers would have trouble with it), so I'd like you to work on simplifying it some more. I'll try to give you a hand. Osiris (talk) 06:21, 28 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Template:Infobox alkane change

The page you wrote, Template:Infobox alkane, has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page was deprecated or replaced by a newer template and are completely unused and not linked to. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. Auntof6 (talk) 00:48, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Kc, please clue us in on what you are doing with these Chembox templates. Why are you transforming individual transclusions to their own templates? How many articles is {{Infobox methane}} going to be used on? Other than Methane? Osiris (talk) 00:50, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello. You have a new message at Osiris's talk page.
Osiris (talk) 02:10, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for following that up. Osiris (talk) 03:31, 10 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Template:Abbreviation see also change

An editor has requested deletion of Template:Abbreviation see also, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2013/Template:Abbreviation see also and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Auntof6 (talk) 10:21, 17 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
