Welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia change

Hi, LukeTheSpook! Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes.

If you need help, check out the Help section of Wikipedia, or leave a message on my talk page.

Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'edit summary' whenever you change an article.

Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler.

If you make a short article please mark it with {{stub}}, our guideline is here: Stubs

Happy editing! Razorflame 22:53, 12 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Link change

Hi, maybe you where right removing the MySpace link. However I've reverted your change because the article et VGA. I don't think the link would of stayed if it was considered unecessary. Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 22:44, 9 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spelling in articles related to the UK - ie Manchester change

In a recent change to Wikipedia to the page "Manchester", you changed one or more words from one national type of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, please do not do that, even if you do not normally use type of English the article is written in. Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of EnglishRespect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours.

For subjects related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States, use American English. If it is a topic about another country or an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

Other guidelines on how Wikipedia articles should be written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any questions about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit "Simple talk". Thank you.--Matilda (talk) 06:47, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

When creating new pages change

Can you please add categories, a stub tag, and inter wiki links to the articles you create? That would be good, thanks. Synergy 23:20, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sure thing. Thanks for the reminder. - -' The Spook (TALK) (Share the Love with Barnstars) 23:26, 24 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Converting change

I fixed the problem with {{Infobox NFLactive‎}}. One thing to remember is that the templates on Simple are not always the same as on the English wikipedia. When importing a template or parts of templates from there, converting them to our templates may be needed. The largest differences are with the {{Convert}} templates. Ours does not work similar to theirs. It is limited in what it converts and does not use the sub-templates you have been adding. Certain issues are dealt with using alternate templates (Height in to m for example). Importing and maintaining the entire en:wp convert template and the hundreds of pages they created to make it work is just not practical, nor needed. -- Creol(talk) 05:17, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Removing of pages change

Please don't delete and redirect pages like you did. It is not your place...RFD but in this case please read the tags.--  CM16  02:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

I don't know just leave them and let the more experienced editors take care of it...considering the tag they use was created by Eptalon...it must be allowed. I need more experience before I make that kind of call...so I'm watching and waiting....I suggest you do the same.--  CM16  02:32, 8 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Template:Portalpar/doc change

The page you wrote, Template:Portalpar/doc, has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page was deprecated or replaced by a newer template and are completely unused and not linked to. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. Auntof6 (talk) 02:51, 26 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
