Welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia change

Hi, Papercutbiology! Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes!

If you need help, check out the Help section of Wikipedia, or leave a message on my talk page.

Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'edit summary' whenever you change an article.

Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler.

If you make a short article please mark it with {{stub}}, our guideline is here.

Happy editing! Goblin 12:41, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome! change

Thank you for joining the Simple English Wikipedia! We are a growing community that needs a lot of help, support, and loves/huggles at this point in time. I feel that we as a community just grew stronger :P. Cheers, Razorflame 17:02, 26 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adoption change

Hello Papercutbiology. I noticed you're looking for adoption around these parts? Well I don't go in for a particularly formal approach to this sort of thing but my talk page is your talk page - feel free to talk to me about anything or ask anything... Welcome here. Redlinks change

Hi there. Instead of removing the redlinks from the articles, could you please make the article so that it isn't a redlink anymore? Thanks, Razorflame 00:27, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

It might seem that my response to your question on Razorflame's talk page could have been perceived as harsh. Sorry if that is the case; it was not intended to be so. I was just answering before trying to get tot the phone; so it was a brief answer :) Feel free to ask any of us if you need answers to anything! fr33kman talk 00:38, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wiki, wiki, wiki change

Well that's a good question. Right now we're discussing on WP:ST what requires attribution and how best to attribute it. What I would suggest you do until we resolve the situation (and by all means join in) is to use the {{enwp based}} template on the talk page of any article you use to help you edit articles here. You need a permanent link to the version of the page you're using, on en.wiki you can find that in the toolbox on the left-hand side of the article, it's called "Permanent link". This will reload the page with an "&oldid=012345678" on the end of the URL. This URL is a permanent link to that version (the version you're looking at, and basing the Simple English article on). Copy that and paste it after a pipe (|) into the template so you have {{enwp based|url=http://....(URL)....}}. That way you should have no problems with anyone deleting your work as copyright violation. Hope that's clear? If not, give me a shout. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:00, 1 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
