Restore

Vous avez supprimé ma page ! Pouvez vous svp la reconstituer à moi à ma page d'utilisateur et je la traduirai toute. Merci Mr hammond (talk) 15:33, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

In case you didn't understand, he'd like you to restore the page to his userspace so he can translate it. Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 16:47, 1 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
The articles aren't worthwile enough to restore. Pmlineditor  14:26, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Mr hammond (talk) 13:26, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I didn't call them worthless. They aren't notable. Pmlineditor  18:07, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mr hammond (talk) 12:50, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Stop accusing me. If you don't stop trolling I'll block you. Pmlineditor  16:58, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Mr hammond, vous avez mal compris. Il ne vous a pas accusé vous de sans valeur, mais les articles. Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 17:11, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yot: Am I right in reading that he was accusing me of threatening him? Pmlineditor  17:12, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Yes, though I think it's a misunderstanding. He didn't understand what you said. Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 17:16, 8 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Deleting the Gordon Hughes wiki page.

From: Gordon Hughes

I'd like to defend the work cited here as worthwhile for people to find and read. That work is the reason for the keeping the page.

It's in the specialty area of computer information storage that is of great interest to its workers; it's roughly a $50 billion revenue industry. Many Wiki pages are specialty interest areas.

Note: the page could be edited or changed in a way to emphasize the work itself; the wiki page on information storage covers just storage history.

Please click through on the Gordon Hughes page to check the following: (1) Disk drive secure erase is an important tool, cited by the federal government, and a way for people to avoid breaking laws requiring secure deletion of discarded data (Gramm-Leach-Bliley, California Senate Bill 1386 (2002) Sarbanes-Oxley). (2) The secure erase freeware utility has been downloaded by hundreds of thousands of computer users. This page can lead others to this utility.

(3) Future storage technology subjects could be expanded, beyond the patterned media references. and (4) the Book "Hard Drive!" is an insight into the Silicon Valley startup company roller coaster ride, not often seen since Michael Crichton's"Disclosure."

Nothing, stop writing about yourself and read WP:COI. Pmlineditor  08:45, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Examples of potential

Greetings :) Please consider restoring this article and permitting the RFD to come to completion. The article has content and context, and does not meet criteria. This is wht I sent it to RFD as opposed to deleting it myself. Warmly, NonvocalScream (talk) 04:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done, and subsequently deleted by Barras. It was a clear A1 though... Pmlineditor  08:11, 16 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

You have to delete articles after talking!!

You have deleted Police Heritage Museum. If you thought it had to be deleted, you had to talk with me because I wrote it. --현철환 (talk) 10:10, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Not really true; however I can userfy the article (ie restore it to your userspace) if you want. Pmlineditor  10:11, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I cannot understand what you are saying. What is userfy and userspace??--현철환 (talk) 10:41, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Userfy means that I'll restore the page in you userspace, ie, in User:현철환/Police Heritage Museum. Thanks, Pmlineditor  10:42, 18 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
That's   Done, FYI. Pmlineditor  09:34, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Challenora warning

You warned Challenora for vandalism here. Additionally, you reverted the user's edit to the student tutorial ([1]). Can I ask what you've found vandalistic about the user's edits? The student tutorial functions just like a sandbox, so there's no reason to revert the user, and there's no reason to warn them for edits made there (unless they're totally out of line). Either way (talk) 10:01, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Very sorry for that; didn't notice where it was. :( Pmlineditor  10:02, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

They were copied from enwp. Please stop this. Pmlineditor  17:13, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sorry

Sorry. I accidentally pressed the rollback button while reading the diff. It wasn't meant to be done. —Mythdon [talk] [changes] 15:54, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

No problem; just be a bit more careful. Not much harm done here though... Pmlineditor  16:01, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi there Pmlinediter,

You've got an article queued up for the next Issue of Simple News. You might like to take time to review it and if needed make changes before the Issue is delivered.

Hello! I am a new user of Wikipedia, and I wanted to create an article about one internet store, based in Poland. www.luxoshop.com But you deleted my article... RFA

Hi there was wondering if you think it would be too early to apply to be an admin. Although I havent got many edits I have been around for a while sitting back in the shadows taking in all of the policies and reading them in depth and feel that I know them. Perhaps you could coach me or something? Corruptcopper (talk) 17:23, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, generally, while we do ask for 3 months active+1k edits; I believe ~500-600 edits might suffice. However, checking your contribs, you've got about 100 which is a bit less for an RfA. However, you're doing a good job here and it'll be good if you stick around and edit often. You can write good and very good articles; tag articles for quick deletion and participate in RFDs which will help you in a future RfA. You can get rollback for reverting vandalism too. Concentrate on doing good edits and you'll soon be nommed/will get the sysop bit. About coaching - well, I'm a new admin ;) - you can ask one of the experienced guys. Regards, Pmlineditor  17:29, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Cool thanks without bringing the interwiki rivalry into it, its a bit like the en.wiki admin criteria then except perhaps a little simpler for want of a better word. Pardon the pun. Corruptcopper (talk) 18:48, 28 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
