Thanks for the new articles! change

Thanks for the new articles you created about settlements in Suffolk. Instead of putting an interwiki link in the article, would you link the articles to Wikidata? That's where interwiki links are kept now. If you don't know how to do that, I have described one method at User:Auntof6/How to#Interwiki language links for new pages. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 23:38, 25 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

One other note: when specifying compass directions, use lower case. Compass directions should usually be one word, such as "southeast" instead of "south east", or "south-southeast" instead of "south south east". Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 17:30, 26 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
The interwiki links are sorted by a bot so there is not usually and need to do this manually. Shelland (talk) 11:46, 27 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Or said another way, when the interwiki links aren't set up in Wikidata, the bots try to fix it. Sometimes the bots get them right, sometimes they get them wrong, and sometimes they don't do anything at all with them. Why not set them up correctly to begin with? --Auntof6 (talk) 11:50, 27 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
They can be corrected later if there is a problem. Shelland (talk) 11:53, 27 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
Yes, but that requires tracking them to see if the bots get it right. Have you had trouble adding the links in Wikidata, or do you just not want to do it? --Auntof6 (talk) 12:20, 27 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
I have added links in Wikidata before, I have a different account there, I will do it later if any fail. Shelland (talk) 12:23, 27 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Gillingham, Medway change

An editor has requested deletion of Gillingham, Medway, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2017/Gillingham, Medway and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. –Davey2010Talk 18:35, 28 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
