I guess I didn't, those socks were on Ben and LuR's feet a few days ago. lol. Sorry about opposing you in the RfA, I had it neutral at first, but then Razor told me that wasn't allowed. RE: Your RfA

This is hard to explain. Listen ... (I'm rewriting this over and over) ... I think that you are on the right path, and you're not a sock-puppeteer anymore. At first, I did vote neutral, but I found out that that wasn't allowed. But being an admin (or so I hear) is much more complicated that it looks. I mean, having that kind of tools cannot be just handed out. It has to completely untrusted. Also, you've been mostly editing wrestling-related articles only (at least for the most part, but I am partly guilty of that with Christian-related articles). I think that it takes much more experience (that's why I haven't run). As for not liking your reasons, anyone would like to have them to delete and for moving there articles, but it is more special then that. And you shouldn't say you expect to fail, only run to win. I hope you understand what I'm saying. No hard feelings? Cheers --  AmericanEagle  03:57, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

See, if I ran, I would be opposed by some. That doesn't mean I'm a bad editor, just that I'm not quite ready (which, I doubt that I am right now). I get what you mean by "That's what you know about," I've tried to explain that to people with my Christian articles. I like working on those. Just if you see formatting mistakes in articles, or typos, or such, just make sure you work on those and keep you eyes open to errors. You'll find them, even if you aren't looking for them and focusing on Wrestling as long as you try. You don't have to create or expand articles you have no clue about, just every once in a white click "Show any page" and check an article. But that is not wholly why I was neutral/weak oppose. Also, next time I notice the Rays playing, I'll root for them! lol. I like the Tigers, mostly all Detroit sports. But I am starting to fully trust you (along with most of the other editors here), so keep at it, you'll get. Before doing, (just a piece of advice), ask an admin if you're ready. That's the road I've chosen. Thanks for eading my long messages. Cheers --  AmericanEagle  04:17, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

List of WWE Diva's Championship reigns by length

I nominated the redirect for quick deletion because nobody, absolutely nobody, will type that in as a search for the WWE Diva's Championship. Note that the R3 criteria also accommodates "uncommon redirect" per the template instructions. I'll renominate for {{qd}} again if that's okay. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Also, please note that en-wiki redirects WWE Diva's Championship to WWE Women's Championship - do you know something (which you can verify) that the rest of us don't? I would recommend adding some references. Plus, deleting that redirect should have no effect on the template you've referred me to as the article on reigns should most definitely not exist yet since the tournament has not even been hosted once! The Rambling Man (talk) 19:42, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, you don't need to "create" a redirect for an article which doesn't exist (and won't until there's been at least one instance of this championship). I'm confused why you think this list is needed right now? Besides the template (which can be adjusted when required) there's no requirement for this page at all. The Rambling Man (talk) 20:16, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Given that the SmackDown! title is as much a seperate entity as the WWE Championship, ECW championship (WWE) and the World Heavyweight Championship are from from each other, combining the SmackDown! and RAW womens titles as one single title is just as wrong combining those three. The entire aim of the brand separation (excluding the ECW/Smackdown! and soon to be ECW/RAW colaberation) is to give seperate identities to each product's performers. With rare exceptions, WWE has kept each brand entirely seperate. (Cross over's do exist mainly as a special appearence or brand vs brand confrontation and certain performers - Hornswoggle/Finlay - have cross over status due to storylines but overall, they are two seperate groups) -- Creol(talk) 08:17, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Rest assured should I wish to know more about the wrestling articles here I'll ask those whom I think would be most useful. All the best. The Rambling Man (talk) 07:53, 8 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

My revert

I reverted the changes to RF's RfA as the problem with figuring out the count was not in the use of the templates. Vector and my votes were easy enough to understand and there was no need to make an emphasis that we were opposing since we listed it under the oppose section supplying the main reason as being per M/ so the change was both unneeded and a change to what the editors actually said (not in what they meant as the changes you made did not change that, but their word choice and it is thier right to make their point as they feel is right). It was clear that we were in opposition. Half the other opposes are not so clear given points I brought up in the comments about people thinking through there position before saying something about the matter and having to actually search through the history to ensure the original commenter was the one who struck their votes.. or such as maxim, voted oppose, struck that and voted strongly oppose.. oi.. couldn't he just reply to his own vote and emphasis the point rather than causing more headaches??... -- Creol(talk) 06:51, 16 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

My RFA

Evolution

Hello, I am in the process of "re-vamping" Evolution so that it can still be a very good article. I invite yxou to contribute what oyu think can be done. In the revampled article I created a section called Responses to the idea of evolution. It links to Social responses to the idea of evolution as a main article. When the first ideas of evolution began to be discussed (afaik Lamarckism) there were of course people who did not like it; ever since, people have talked about it.

I would be glad if you could do a proofreading/copyediting

Even though the template doesn't look important, it is used like {{!}}. Because of some bugs in the software, this is need to combine templates and tables, because they both use the | character. I've closed your RfD as keep, since this is a very widely used template.--Werdan7T @ 06:38, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Agree. I was going to add my "speedy keep" !vote by I edit conflicted with Werdan7. It is a widely used template if you look what links to it and it will just "mess up" all those pages if deleted. The rest I was going to say at WP:RfD was basically mentioned above by Werdan7. -- RyanCross (talk) 06:43, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
Tossing in my own "Dear God, No!" on this one. The two "table" templates ({{!}} and |-) are workarounds for dealing with the limitations of the Parser functions (mainly the #if: statement although also greatly affects #ifequal: and #switch:) used in many templates. Using |- and | in many of these templates causes them to get confused as to if that is a wiki-table function (most often is) or a deliminator of the parser function (which is usual thinks it is but rarely is correct). These bypass the need to have to totally abandon wiki-markup when dealing with conditional table entries and having to use HTML markup (tr and td tags - both opening and closing) to deal with table cells and rows. The mediawiki update back in Feb 2008 caused issues with how this templates are read and treated ({{!}} is no longer needed inside piped links in parser statement) but for overall table design, they is usualy essential. -- Creol(talk) 08:14, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Title changes

As I was watching the draft last week, I dreaded the expected outcome from NoC on Sunday. Mainly the one that would result in a major rewrite of the belts articles. (Triple H beating Cena and Batista beating Edge and the belts being switched between brands yet again). Tossing in Glenn Jacobs moving to RAW with the belt and a NoC match with no ECW competitor scheduled and this looked like a major fiasco from an editing stand point (Thank you Teddy long and Mark Henry for that little help at least). While not expecting the CM Punk angle instead of the obvious Batista one, I had a feeling we were looking at article rewrites to get them to the newly correct brands. I noticed you fixed the infobox's on each belt, but the overall text of the articles had not been changed. I updated the WWE championship (Raw to Smackdown), World Heavyweight Championship (WWE) (Smackdown to Raw) and WWE draft (effects on championships) to their current status (not exactly new status as we are just back to where we were before the Cena/Batista draft shift corrected the titles to WWE championship being on RAW as the historic WWE/WWF/WWWF belt on the "A" brand). I am not certain if I added a comment to the ECW side of the situation about the belt move and it return and if there are other pages dealing with this history I may have missed them as well. I covered Hardy's US title belt change under the drafts effects on belts, but never got around to checking the main article itself to make certain it was up to date as an ECW belt. Since you pay the most attention to the articles, I thought it best to make certain you were informed of these changes I made to the articles. -- Creol(talk) 08:31, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well,

I was wondering what it is you wanted done to Chris Benoit? I couldn't expand it much, for I don't know much about him, but I could do copyediting/other work if you wanted some.
