Warning messages change

When you leave warning messages on user talk pages, would you please include article titles? It makes it easier for admins when we need to check vandalism against the warnings a user has gotten. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 09:12, 19 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

No problem and thanks for the tip!--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 11:42, 20 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcoming others change

Caution in welcoming: the person "stjfsheffield" was already making bad pages today from a school website. Cheers, Macdonald-ross (talk) 11:01, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

True I did see that. I think on reflection I should have used a different welcome template but I think I was right to welcome them as they seemed like a confused new user who needed a point in the right direction.--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 11:21, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mentor change

I could use a wiki mentor. --Thahouseusers2015 (talk) 13:17, 2 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I'm not sure that I would very the best choice for a mentor, however I have a pretty good idea on how things work around here so I would be more than willing to answer any questions you have. Happy editing!--Mr Wiki Pro (talk) 08:07, 3 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Somebody has given you some cookies! Now enjoy them!

4 u! enjoy them and iam not a patroller in my own ways. --Thahouseusers2015 (talk) 12:42, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Thahouseusers2015: thank you very much! :) --Druddigon (talk) 12:43, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

warn or block ip users change

we should warn them or block them. just saying. --Thahouseusers2015 (talk) 12:50, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

We should start of by giving them warnings. If they vandalise after a final warning we should report them to the administrators so they can be blocked. --Druddigon (talk) 12:52, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

doing my best change

to revert vandalism or bad edits also maybe a reward barnstar??? just maybe? --Thahouseusers2015 (talk) 13:02, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

That's good vandalism fighting is an important job and I'm sure you will start to receive barstars soon.--Druddigon (talk) 14:21, 6 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

70.24.33.238 change

Please! Block him! Auntof6 and I are reverting all of its edits and it's getting annoying and exhausting! --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 10:22, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I wish I could their edits are highly disruptive but I'm not actually an admin...--Druddigon (talk) 10:23, 4 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Templo Mayor change

Thank you for catching the vandalism on Templo Mayor. I see you also warned the user 210.55.186.169 with a level 1 warning for vandalism. That's good. I don't know if you knew this but that IP user has already received a level 4 warning for vandalism just a few weeks ago. According to Wikipedia:User talk page warnings it is up to the warning editor (you in this case) what level of warning to give and for what problem. But the guideline also says to take everything the user has been doing into account. I thought his edit was more an attack against another editor and gave him a warning for the attack. I just thought I'd explain to you why I gave the warning I did and show you the guideline if you hadn't already read it. Thanks User:Rus793 (talk) 01:46, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

(talk page stalker) @Rus793: With IP editors, we don't assume all edits are done by the same person. This is especially true when a significant amount of time has passed between edits. That is a reason for "starting over" with warning levels. --Auntof6 (talk) 02:37, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

User page warnings change

Hi, Druddigon. About this edit: please try to keep all user warnings in sections titled with the month and year. That makes it a lot easier for us when we need to check what warnings a user has already gotten. I've combined the warnings for this user. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 18:14, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

no worries & thanks for the advice!--Druddigon (talk) 19:47, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reverts change

I would not revert any more - Harrt555 or whatever he's called will just keep tugging back. Waiting for an admin is advisable. I don't want to see you blocked for edit warring. J991 18:43, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

True, but I don't think it counts if the person your edit warring against is a vandal. Anyway I think you might be right. He's been reported so we might as well let him keep the article - for now - and wait for an admin to look at it.--Druddigon (talk) 18:47, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
Actually, the only 3RR exception that I know is if the edits you're reverting are obvious vandalism. All Harrt555 was doing was removing qd tags, and that's not exactly obvious vandalism. J991 18:49, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
If this place works the same as the English Wikipedia, somebody removing a qd tag from their own page instead of following the instructions to add a {{wait}} template and discuss it is obviously vandalism. --McGeddon (talk) 19:17, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
(talk page stalker) Admin here: we would not consider it edit warring if the only changes were addition/removal of a QD tag. I'm not sure we consider it vandalism if an inappropriate person removes a QD tag, but putting it back (no matter how many times) would not be the kind of edit warring that would get someone in trouble. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:38, 23 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you change

Thank you for your help at https://simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Stewi101015/Header&action=history I was rather tired, with little to no guidance. Stewi101015 (talk) 01:45, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your welcome.--Druddigon (talk) 06:42, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

How? change

How did you change your User Page to "view source"? Seems useful  :) Stewi101015 (talk) 02:20, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

hi @Stewi101015:, my userpage says that because if you look in the history of it, it has been vandalised multiple times by IPs and new users so an administrator protected if for me. Once your account is Autoconfirmed (4 days old with at least 10 edits) you can edit protected pages like that.--Druddigon (talk) 06:42, 12 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hi. Sorry to hear about the IPs, and new users. I didn't look in the History.
It sounds like I need to be more patient, and there will be new possibilities. Thank you for the info. :)
Best wishes, Stewi101015 (talk) 05:15, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Your more thank welcome and I hope you enjoy editing here. --Druddigon (talk) 06:34, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thank you again. Complicated so far, but I am still hopeful.  :) Stewi101015 (talk) 08:40, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Druddigon: So only administrators can protect my userspace, not me? Stewi101015 (talk) 01:26, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
(talk page stalker) That is correct. --Auntof6 (talk) 02:43, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
@Auntof6: Thank you for the clarification. Stewi101015 (talk) 20:51, 15 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you change

Thanks, I'm learning a lot. --Cosmic16 (talk) 20:39, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Cosmic16: you are very welcome, and thank you for removing that vandalism. Don't forget if you need any help you can always ask at WP:Simple Talk. --Druddigon (talk | changes) 20:42, 6 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

2 things change

1) I change one of your warnings from a level 2 to a level 4IM, I hope you don't mind.
2) Lol, how it says "possible" vandalism Krett12 (talk) 22:27, 29 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

(talk page stalker) @Krett12: I changed that warning back. If the same IP vandalizes again, you can graduate the warnings. If not, then that warning is moot anyway. Don't make it personal when you warn a vandal. Level 4 messages are not appropriate when there are no lower-level earlier warnings. Also, please don't change a warning left by another user. --Auntof6 (talk) 22:46, 29 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Krett12 I don't mind you changing my warnings but like Auntof6 said its better to graduate them. However upon reflection I probably should have given them a notice for cyber bullying instead.--Druddigon (talk | changes) 17:19, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it was just vandalized again so could my userpage be semi protected at the 'forever' level? Because I am still in the closet regarding my cockpuppet habits. Krett12 (talk) 23:21, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Done. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:35, 1 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

You know what Druddigon refers to? change

Druddigon refers to a Pokemon. Druddigon is a Dragon type Pokemon. If you research for Druddigon, you might get your answer. Don't feel outraged. I'm just letting you know what a Druddigon refers to and it is of course a Pokemon. No, seriously! 50.29.199.144 (talk) 01:40, 13 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ha ha I know that's where I got the inspiration for the name from :p I was always a fan of Pokemon in my youth so I couldn't help naming myself after a let's face it a pretty cool Pokemon! --Druddigon (talk | changes) 07:32, 13 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Beat me by seconds change

I opened Mustafa Imran Afzal and saw that it needed to be QD'd. By the time I selected the dropdown, the system said it was already tagged. Your tag. LOL! Etamni | ✉   10:12, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ha ha yeah that's annoying when that happens. To be honest I think there has been a few times where you've just beet me to reverting/QD'ing something as well!  --Druddigon (talk | changes) 10:21, 5 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

About Vittoria Colonna change

Thanks for reviewing. There are people, who like to build and thouse, who like to destroy. I met with such vandalism for the first time, but I had heard about it many times earlier. It is good somebody watches and defends us. (Anagram16 (talk) 22:09, 13 October 2016 (UTC))Reply

Thanks for the message @Anagram16:. Yeah wikis do tend to attract vandals but a lot of the time it's easy to spot and fix. It's things like date changes and other sneaky forms of vandalism that can be harder to detect.if you're ever interested in helping fight vandalism you can read up about it here. Yahusha, Yahushua, Yeshua, Yeshuah change

A person who has google search a particular should be able to find exactly what he or she wants and not the opposite. WhatHisName? Yahusha Ha'Mashyach (talk) 00:19, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi @WhatHisName? Yahusha Ha'Mashyach:, I don't really know what it is you are trying to tell me. I reverted your edit because it wasn't relevant to the page Wikipedia talk:How to write Simple English pages. --Druddigon (talk | changes) 09:25, 16 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

December 2016 change

Hello, Druddigon. When you revert a user's changes, like you did earlier to User:168.212.150.70's edit to Donald Trump, don't forget to leave the user a message on their talk page. You may find Template:User talk page warnings/table useful when doing this, to let them know that the change was considered inappropriate, and to direct them to the sandbox. I left the warning message for you this time. Thank you. Rus793 (talk) 20:37, 12 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
