Welcome to Simple English Wikipedia

Hi, Bambadee, welcome to Simple English Wikipedia! Thank you for your changes. If you need help, check out the Help section of Wikipedia, or leave a message on my talk page. Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'change summary' whenever you change an article. Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler. Happy changing! --Creol(talk) 06:41, 30 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Category creation

change

The current practice at the Simple English Wikipedia in regards to category creation is to only create categories once there are at least 3 articles to which that category applies. please do not create categories (such as Category:2009 births - we do not have a lot of articles on notable 2-3 year olds) which have less than three articles to populate that category. In most cases, as an empty category, they are subject to quick deletion. See Wikipedia:Categories#Creating new categories for more information on the subject of category creation here. --Creol(talk) 06:41, 30 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Category:2009 births

change

Several of the birth-year categories you created have been selected for quick deletion. This is because they are empty. Please create these chronology categories only if there is an article to put in them. If you think this category should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the category is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Hi. I see you removed the QD from Category:2009 births after it had an article in it. The person who created the page isn't allowed to remove the QD, so another editor put it back. However, I then removed it because I put it there in the first place and I can remove it. Thanks for populating the category! --Auntof6 (talk) 04:18, 1 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Alia De Vercelli

change

An editor has requested deletion of Alia De Vercelli, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2013/Alia De Vercelli and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Osiris (talk) 11:02, 13 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Rollback

change

I have assigned the right to you. You have experience on other wikis, so I believe you will use it appropriately. Please make sure when you do revert vandalism, that you also warn the user. I saw some instances where you are not consistent with the warning of the editor involved. -- Enfcer (talk) 02:43, 9 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thank you Enfcer, I'll be more careful with warnings. Esteban messages 00:00, 10 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

An IP.

change

This particular revert here. You warned the IP using a template that referred to it as vandalism. That edit was not blatant vandalism. For all wek know, he was going to add more information and restate it. It ws good to revert, but I just wanted to inform you that it was good faith distuptive editing as opposed to editing maliciously. Thank you, Vermont | reply here 19:44, 26 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why a new QD?

change

I already requested one, why did you add another for History of chemistry? Elytrian - Talk 04:23, 11 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Elytrian: I use Twinkle, when I was about to tag the article your edit hadn't been saved yet. When the tagging was complete I didn't notice you already did it. Esteban16 (talk) 16:57, 11 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
