Hello! I'm Asteralee, an American-based Wikipedian! It's nice to meet you!

I joined the Simple English Wikipedia in August 2024 to help out because unlike its sister project, the English Wiki, the Simple Wiki has lots of work to be done. Even though I am a fluent English speaker, I enjoy editing here so that the readers will become fluent at English too!

My other account, Magnolioideae, had a password change that I don't remember, so please, if you have anything to discuss, please put them in my talk page, not in Magnolioideae's.

Because of my studies and other things, I will be on a wikibreak from time to time. So please be patient, especially around this time. Thanks!

🪻 My Editing Style 🪻

I edit at nighttime and sometimes on weekdays.
I usually edit more than one thing at a time to prevent stress due to overloading.
I like making things vandalism-free.
I only edit Simple Wikipedia on a daily basis.
I don't like making stubs, so I expand articles.

🪻 On Simple Wiki 🪻

Even though I speak English at a native level, I enjoy simplifying articles to the point that they're good enough to be read without confusion. I'm something like a WikiFairy.

I often work on pages about singers, television shows, music, books, and sometimes equestrians because I know a lot about those topics, and I'm very interested in them. Because I'm an avid bookworm and read all kinds of genres, I also like editing and creating articles about authors, mostly American authors.

I also enjoy using HotCat to assign categories to non-categorized articles and my articles. I've made my own before and want to make more!

I joined the Anti-Vandalism team recently, so I'm also warning vandals with warning templates. I also like recent changes patrolling. I'm in Ferien's Wikiproject, so I enjoy adding categories, making them, and deleting some.

I am also on the Italian Wikipedia. I've only made edits to my talk page, but soon, I will look into making categories and stuff.

In the Simple Wiktionary, I take words from the cleanup site and make definitions for them. I've made one, harbinger.
