One or the other must be given if you also wish to specify any countries to which the article currently leans without using a named parameter (which are: 2name=, 3name=, 4name=) to specify the country. Specifying the whole article or just one section is accomplished simply by adding those words as parameters: {{Globalize|article|date=January 2024}} or {{Globalize|section|date=January 2024}}.

I suspect war deaths in Gaza are already over 30,000
This data looks sus, in pretty much the OPPOSITE way to what everyone has been assuming.
Gaza have admitted they are only counting identified dead, not mass graves or bodies still in rubble.
But what happened on 27 October?

Shortened my Aussie Hezzy entry in Timeline of the 2023 Israel–Hamas war
Shorter is probably warranted, but this belongs somewhere…
- An Israeli airstrike on a civilian building in Bint Jbeil in Lebanon killed 3 Australians. One citizen who Hezbolla claimed was one of their fighters, as well as his brother (visiting from Australia) and that brother's wife (recently obtained an Australian visa).[1] Hezbolla held the funeral for all three, but only one of the family members was a Hezbolla fighter; all three were killed at home.[2]

Christmas Tree change
Removed from Christmas tree by Shenme
Until the 2023 Israel-Hamas War there was an annual Christmas tree in the courtyard of the YMCA in Gaza City Arabic: جمعية الشبان المسيحية غزة in the Gaza Strip.[1]
In 2022, the Christmas Tree in Gaza City YMCA was topped with a big red star.

When Israel first encountered Islamists in Gaza in the 1970s and '80s, they seemed focused on studying the Quran, not on confrontation with Israel. The Israeli government officially recognized a precursor to Hamas called Mujama Al-Islamiya, registering the group as a charity. It allowed Mujama members to set up an Islamic university and build mosques, clubs and schools. Crucially, Israel often stood aside when the Islamists and their secular left-wing Palestinian rivals battled, sometimes violently, for influence in both Gaza and the West Bank. 'When I look back at the chain of events I think we made a mistake,' says David Hacham, who worked in Gaza in the late 1980s and early '90s as an Arab-affairs expert in the Israeli military. 'But at the time nobody thought about the possible results.' Israeli officials who served in Gaza disagree on how much their own actions may have contributed to the rise of Hamas. They blame the group's recent ascent on outsiders, primarily Iran. This view is shared by the Israeli government. 'Hamas in Gaza was built by Iran as a foundation for power, and is backed through funding, through training and through the provision of advanced weapons,' Mr. Olmert said last Saturday. Hamas has denied receiving military assistance from Iran.

Removed (made some corrections to this) "The presence of or use of weapons at a hospital does not negate its protected status, because this may be unavoidable for a medical facility operating in a war zone.[1] According to "Convention (I) for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field. Geneva, 12 August 1949. Commentary of 2016" it does not negate protected stats if a hospital has "small arms and ammunition taken from the wounded and sick and not yet handed to the proper service". There is also a narrow exception for the use of small firearms by medical facilities in war zones if "they use the arms in their own defence, or in that of the wounded and sick in their charge".[1] Medical facilities are also allowed to be guarded by combatants, such as "a soldier or small body of troops sent out to watch for the enemy" or "a soldier stationed to keep guard or to control access to a place" without negating their protected status.[2]"
