Welcome to Wikipedia, ISP user! Please note the following:

This host, cpc83469-wolv18-2-0-cust3.16-1.cable.virginm.net, belongs to Virgin Media (UK), an internet service provider through which many people may connect to the Internet using a proxy. This IP address may be given to another person when the current user logs off.

For this reason, a message that was meant to be sent to one person may be seen by another. If you are changing Wikipedia using this address and are tired of unrelated messages, you can avoid them by making an account for yourself. Sometimes, you may not be allowed to make an account for a short time because of attempts to prevent disruptive changes. In that case, please see this page.

If you are automatically blocked repeatedly, you should contact the company that operates your Internet connection or your corporation's technical division and ask them to talk to Wikimedia's XFF project about turning on X-Forwarded-For HTTP headers on their proxy servers so that Wikipedia blocks will affect only the person meant to be stopped.

Please do not block this IP or undo its changes without checking - if a block is needed, admins should consider using a block with automatic blocking disabled with the code {{anonblock|optional comment}} as the reason.

Note: If disruptive changes are made from this address, abuse reports may be sent to your ISP.
Tech staff who want to patrol disruptive changes made using this IP address can subscribe to a web feed of this page using either RSS or Atom.

January 2017 change

Welcome to Wikipedia. You might not have done it on purpose, but your recent change removed helpful information from Wikipedia. We ask that you do not remove things from pages without giving a good reason in the change summary. If it was a mistake, do not worry. The part of the article you removed has been put back. If you want to try things out, please use the sandbox. If you would like to learn how to help Wikipedia, please see the welcome page. Thank you. Chenzw  Talk  16:06, 6 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive changing. If you continue to vandalize pages by adding wrong information on purpose, as you did at Psittacosaurus atlanticus, you may be blocked from changing pages on Wikipedia. Rus793 (talk) 19:49, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, 82.32.95.4. It looks like an article you created was derived from the English Wikipedia or another version of Wikipedia. If that is indeed the case, please make sure you add some form of attribution, either in your change summary or on the article's talk page. This must be done, even for derivative works, or the article will be deleted in time. More instructions on how to do this are at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. Thank you. An example is List of Central American dinosaurs. You should add attribution to any pages you have copied from another Wikipedia and any future articles you copy (and simplify). If you have any questions just ask. Thanks Rus793 (talk) 18:38, 16 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Rus793. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Xin Zhui, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Once you find a reliable source citation that verifies this information, suggest you add it as an explanatory footnote. Rus793 (talk) 03:30, 26 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Use of tags change

When you tag a page {{Disputed}}, such as you did with Siamogale melilutra, you need to give your reasons on the article's talk page. You copied the first line from the Enwiki article yourself, so I assume there is nothing there you disagree with. I added more information based on the information in the same article and included the source citations, then added more. Please give your reasons for using this tag on the talk page so they can be discussed. Thank you. Rus793 (talk) 17:39, 26 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Since no reason was given I have removed the tag. You may replace it if you can give a valid reason on the talk page. Please be sure you understand the Wikipedia:No original research policy and why we use reliable third-party sources to verify the information in an article. If you have any questions, please ask here or at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Thank you Rus793 (talk) 18:49, 26 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please see Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages so you can write more simply in the future. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 10:30, 27 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the change, consider creating an account so you can avoid notices that are not for you.

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Stomatosuchus" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 10:33, 27 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from changing pages without any more notices. J991 11:04, 27 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from changing Wikipedia for 48 hours for continuing to add unsimplified pages and text after being warned.

Once the block has ended you can make helpful changes. Please read Wikipedia's blocking policy and remember that adding spam, making changes that do not have a neutral point of view, making personal attacks on others, not respecting other people's privacy, and vandalizing pages are not allowed. If you do any of these things, you will be blocked again.

If you think this block is unfair, you can ask to be unblocked by adding {{Unblock|your reason here}} below. If you cannot do this or the reason is private please send an e-mail to simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org and an administrator will look at your reason and reply.
