Hello, DNA, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia!

You should begin by reading these pages:

If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Remember to be bold and edit any pages you want! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Simple talk. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing!

Quick Deletion tagging

change

Please don't tag articles for QD if they already have a tag applied. An admin will not delete it any quicker. Regards, Goblin 15:42, 13 July 2009 (UTC) I ♥ Kennedy!Reply

Articles

change

Hey DNA!

Great to see you doing some article work - we need more good quality articles on the wiki! Just a friendly reminder to add {{stub}} to short articles and to also add categories to articles.

Thanks!

Signature.

change

Hey, looking at this edit, and from experience clicking on your signature I think you are missing one bracket after the word "Acid" in your signature. When you click on what is supposed to be the link to your talk page you get a Bad Page request note. Just thought I would let you know!--Gordonrox24 (talk) 02:45, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the siggy should be: Deoxyribonucleic Acid. Pmlineditor I ♥ Gobby! 13:18, 18 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Username change

change

Hi DNA. I've left a reply to your request for usurpation on WP:CHU, it is unfortunately not possible as the accounts elsewhere have edits. If you would like to choose a different name you can request a change on that page. Cheers! fr33kman talk 21:24, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nope, I'm not Indian, that phrase just seems appropriate considering just about every long-term editor here is an admin, and a fifth of them are bureaucrats...! Your DYK hook needs references by the way... The Rambling Man (talk) 18:04, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Water War

change

The reason why the so-called Government of India can't let go of Kashmir is becuse one of the reasons, India is named after the river Indus, which flows from Tibet later into my country Kashmir, then finally into Pak-i-stan not the Republic of India that is recognised as Bharat. It shows that in the future that Wars will be fought over Water. Both the countries are dependent on our waters. So what if we are landlocked, what about the countries of Mongolia, Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan, are they not dependent on China, Russia and the India/Pakistan!

But any how I am an Indian and believe kashmir is of India! There is only nuclear war possible if any....India is equipped even with NS INS Arihanth !--Deoxyribonucleic (talk) 15:53, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reminder about rollback

change

Rollback shouldn't be used idly on valid edits; I've reverted this rollback on Spider-Man.

Now, granted, I'm willing to write this off as simple ignorance on your part about Spider-Man's (considerable) collection of enemies; it's not exactly common knowledge. However, consider this a gentle reminder that, if you think an edit is bad it isn't actually vandalism, don't use rollback. EVula // talk // // 19:30, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Ok I thought about that! --Deoxyribonucleic (talk) 06:20, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Creating articles

change

When you create articles, please do not cut and paste them from other Wikipedias, such as the English Wikipedia. You have done this today with Inorganic chemistry and coordination number. This is also why your "sports" section was removed from the India article. If you continue doing this, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you, Either way (talk) 15:52, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, please read our policies thoroughly. Pmlineditor  Talk 15:56, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

August 2009

change

This is the only warning you will get for the bad changes you made. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Wikipedia:Simple Talk, you will be blocked from editing. Pmlineditor  Talk 17:16, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

Why is this user blocked? The user vandalized once. Griffinofwales (talk) 16:20, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Well, this user created about 20+ copyvios, is a sockpuppet of an user banned at enWP etc. etc. Please see the block log. Pmlineditor  Talk 16:21, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
User:DNA at enWP is not blocked. I only read the notice here, not the block log. I will talk to Shappy. Griffinofwales (talk) 16:26, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Quick deletion of Monoecious

change

The page you wrote, Monoecious, has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page was a page that had little or no meaning. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. Gordonrox24 | Talk 23:54, 7 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Template:India States and Territories Labelled Map

change

An editor has requested deletion of Template:India States and Territories Labelled Map, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2016/Template:India States and Territories Labelled Map and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Auntof6 (talk) 07:53, 7 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
