@TTP1233 add the following line: mw.loader.load("//simple.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:DannyS712/Reset talk.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript"); //[[User:DannyS712/Reset talk.js]]

@DMK-C5 Hi, sorry I forgot to reply to this yesterday.

• In your articles, I noticed that some sentences weren't simple. One example I can think of is He is generally referred to by the honorific Desh Bandhu... (from C. R. Das. I'd rewrite this as He is commonly called Desh Bandu. The name means..., or something along those lines. English Wikipedia is a good starting point, but trying to copy its sentence structure is often an impeding factor in writing simpler articles.
• You should wait a few minutes (at least 10 minutes) before tagging an article for QD A1, I noticed that you were tagging articles for A1 not even a minute after they were created.

Snapchat

I was trying to get the Simple wikipedia language page on Snapchat, to display the same logo, as the regular English Language page on Snapchat. It is not my intent to violate any copyright or wikipedia policies. However, if this image can be used on regular English Wikipedia, why not Simple Wikipedia? Explanations welcome. Thanks! @Seraphim3 Hello! on the Simple English Wikipedia, only images from Wikimedia Commons can be used. On the English Wikipedia, the Snapchat logo file is uploaded locally (that is, it's only stored on the English Wikipedia, not Commons). While some other Wikipedias (e.g. the Indonesian Wikipedia and Chinese Wikipedia) also allow fair-use images to be uploaded locally, the policy here states that non-free images aren't allowed.

According to the deletion discussion at Commons, the logo exceeds the threshold of originality (in this case, it does not consist of only simple shapes), and as such, would violate copyright if it were to be uploaded there. — *Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page 02:21, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
