Vespa velutina eradication

change

Regarding this article. Eptalon has deleted it as a hoax and I've deleted the talk page since the main page no longer exists. It may be a hoax or it may be a goal. I couldn't find anything on Google to indicate there is a concerted effort to eradicate this species. Either way now that it has been deleted the correct course of action going forward is to request a deletion review. Hope this helps. fr33kman 20:04, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Guinea worm

change

On Eradication of infectious diseases, you added, "Former President of the United States of America Carter wants to make Guinea Worm the 2nd eradicated human disease. The Carter Center's International Task Force for Disease Eradication (ITFDE) works to achieve this goal." with the reference International Task Force for Disease Eradication (ITFDE) (2023). "Summary of the Thirty-Fifth Meeting of the International Task Force for Disease Eradication (ITFDE)" (PDF). However, that reference does not mention President Carter. IT does describe NTDs but not Guinea worm. Just tacking on irrelevant references is not helpful and may be considered disruptive. --Gotanda (talk) 23:29, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Invasive Spices! Here at Simple English Wikipedia, we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "Extinction threshold". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in pages that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! MathXplore (talk) 00:03, 24 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

August 2024

change

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Sterilization of Native American women" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 03:35, 6 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Auntof6: Yes I was in the process of doing so but had not completed the process. Please restore it to my Draft: so I can finish work. Thanks. Invasive Spices (talk) 21:10, 16 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Compulsory sterilization

change

Hello, just wanted to let you know that I extended compulsory sterilization. I am not an expert, and mainly copied what was zjrtr om other Wikipeias. Looking at it: it seems to have been common in the first half of the 20th century. I don't know if its useful, but you might want ot cross-link or summarize your articles in that one.
