I would like to request this right as I do go on a lot of pages and fill as much out as I can. Albeit having a little over a year away, I’ve always done this. I add infoboxes, ce, add/fix/verify and update references; Work on making some pages that are needed for things like biology taxonboxes (sometimes we are missing what the project is linked to other times it’s not in wikidata correctly and I fix that). While I don’t really create articles I do go through them and fix them and I’d like to mark them as patrolled. I’m open to any and all questions (within reason). Thank you for your consideration. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 04:25, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi PDL, I went through some of the recent pages you created and they need significant amount of simplification. The pages I went through are Observation.org and Order of Merit (Portugal) and both have complex wording. A lot of sentences there can also be broken down. Please review the pages you have created, and after about 2-4 weeks, we can re-consider this. For now,  Not done. Thanks,--BRP ever 11:24, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to request patroller, I have been doing patrolling-style stuff for years now, and I think ready to become a patroller, as for my articles, I believe some of my articles need revising on or working on, but mostly they're good. I will be actively working on them If i can too. RiggedMint 05:51, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
To clarify, I was revising some of my older articles. RiggedMint 05:52, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, I have approved this request. I went through some of your recent pages and see no significant problem, except one where it was missing categories. That being said, please go through Wikipedia:Patrollers#How_to_patrol, and also make sure the pages you create also pass those criteria. Thank you for your good work.-- BRP ever 11:43, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am requesting patroller rights on this Wikipedia. I have been a registered user for over 90 days, and during this time, I've made more than 2,000 undeleted mainspace edits (verify). Additionally, I have created over 60 articles on the mainspace (verify), including 6 translations of the week (TOTW). I am familiar with the processes of QD and RFD; having nominated over 200 pages for quick deletion and many for RFD (verify). I am well-versed in the manual of style used in this wiki and am committed to reviewing pages solely on a volunteer basis. – Cyber.Eyes2005Talk 10:42, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Support I see @Cyber.Eyes.2005 marking QD requests fast. Competent user dotdotcomma (talk) 11:26, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dotdotcomma: Thanks, Dotdot, but these requests are not votes. -- Auntof6 (talk) 12:00, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Generally I like to see people that request this to have been here atleast a year. You are quite new to this wiki. This flag is essentially admin-lite in that it autopatrols all edits so I like some lengthy time on this wiki before it is given out so as to see a history of both good edits and good behaivor etc. With little over a month worth of edits that is really hard to judge as most anyone can be good for a month. -Djsasso (talk) 16:25, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I get it, I didn't know that there was a timeline to request Patroller rights on here, but I'll keep chipping in and hope to show I'm up for the patroller gig over time. Best, – Cyber.Eyes2005Talk 19:12, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to help with patrolling new articles. I've created 50+ articles in the mainspace, and am quite active and familiar with the QD and RFD process. I often clean up new articles and it would be useful if I could mark them as patrolled. Thanks. dotdotcomma (talk) 11:25, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dotdotcomma:  Not done On this wiki, the patrol right includes autopatrol, meaning that the patroller's own creations are automatically marked as patrolled. I looked at some articles you created, and they needed some work, such as better categorization, so I don't want to give this right at this time. Keep doing what you're doing, though, and I'm sure you'll be able to get the right in the future. -- Auntof6 (talk) 12:18, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Understood. Thank you! I'll get to work and become more familiar with Wikipedia's guidelines. dotdotcomma (talk) 01:37, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Dotdotcomma: Sounds good. If you'd like some information on how Simple English Wikipedia is different from others, you can look at this list I maintain. The list itself isn't a policy or guideline, but it links to some relevants policies and guidelines. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask. -- Auntof6 (talk) 03:06, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to request for Patroller rights, as I am patrolling new pages and also created articles. Xegma(talk) 18:20, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Xegma:  Not done Generally on this wiki, you are expected to have made many many articles before becoming a patroller. The artilces you've created appear to be good, but you haven't made the amount that'd be expected for patroller yet. Also, I've noticed you've been tagging many pages with {{no sources}}, but this isn't really patrolling new pages, this is just making the issues they have more visible to the reader. With patroller, you are expected to make the pages patrollable, eg by adding those sources, rather than tagging that it doesn't have sources, so it can be patrolled. As Djsasso mentions above, we only really give this right to people who have been editing for over a year, at a minimum. Thank you for the work you've done so far, --Ferien (talk) 18:38, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
