Noted, but this may be hard for me, one way is that for us to judge the articles separately and then for those that one of us agree, another of us disagree we openly discuss here (or if you want some privacy we do it via email). A guide in judging is to go to the fountain page linked in WP:WAM, log in, and you will see Judge. Click on it and then the articles will appear. Basic word count and bytes will be shown on the top right (need to ensure the article is 3000 bytes + 300 words both met). And then subsequently, at the bottom, there is an accept, reject button, for okay article (see the main page of WAM for the rules), click accept and done, for not ok article, give a reason why it's not ok, and then reject. Do it when you have time, no rush. For unsure ones, we can discuss here or via email then. Sorry for unable to find a common time on IRC, as 6PM PST is quite early for me here to go online. Hello, just a note, if you see anything wrong with the articles, don't ammend yourself, but rather tell the author whatsoever is wrong and they need to make the correction. I know this is very anti-wiki way of working, but the system we have apparently only recognize the author contribution for length (3000 bytes + 300 words - both need to be met), so if we touch it or expand it it cannot be counted. Thanks for the polishing up for my articles. For judging, apart from my pages there is only Saroj left. I recalled BRPeverconcerns of redlinks, so I will wait till they respond before accepting but I will still say what I said on the Airport talkpage, that Asian articles are rare here and redlinks are inevitable, we can ask people to create pages for those but it really doesn't seem good to just have oneliner stubs. I will wait for consensus to accept / decline those, my thought process, so maybe you will have more views, feel free to share. For this, Tandoori chicken, not sure is the language simple enough as origin section seems complex, but then also there are also 2 barelinks. 19/20. All these we can fix if we deem the entire article is OK, so I will need more inputs. Just in case I am not here, these shouldn't be reason to fail the article should you think is Ok. Hey ya, just a note we need to settle all the judging by the end of this month, so I think it's time to discuss the articles, I am happy to do it at whatsoever pages you think is best. Also @BRPever: for it. There are languages which settled all the judging already. We are sort of running out of time. I think the main issues is that I am not familiar with Indian actress, their notablity and etc as well as the language, so I need BRPever inputs on Saroj, for the chicken page, my concerns are as above. But I am also in an unique situation which I shouldn't have in the first place by writing articles. I cannot reject any pages by Saroj as that can make me seems that I am having a COI (as I am also participating) and he had 7 submitted, me 6. I hate this situation but I am also in a blind not to accept all in a blanket manner and BRP had raised the redlinks issues so I cannot accept against this background. So what I hope is all 3 of us get into consensus of whether to accept / reject Saroj articles (but then I think I will rescue as I have a COI involved - pardon me from getting into the writing which causes this COI). I will get to judging when I'm free (very busy right now), and you raise a good point about the 'COI' can a 3rd party WAM judge from another project come and help us judge? Take care IRL. We cannot add judges now already, the only thing we can do is to ensure fairness, so me having contested (I regret) shouldn't judge any further but I will be always available to give opinions and thoughts on the articles. The COI in this case only applies to me, so one good point, for simple with so small pool of editors, the organizers shouldn't be writing articles. This I will take note next year (hopefully I will still be around there). But anyway, the dateline is 31 Dec, we still have time, but if we exceed, it will be nullfied. Worse up to worse, I will ignore the COI and go to judge all the articles, my aim is just to let there to be at least 1 user who meet the criterion (no need to be me) to win the postcard. Just a friendly reminder, we had 20 more days to judge, cc @BRPever:. Some other projects with 100 plus articles had done already, in fact most, so we really had to get down to real judging, we only have 9. Based on last year experience, late judging submissions isn't that welcomed and we gotten close to a rejections, I had to beg the international organizers for simple to be included when the original judge went missing since day 1 of the competition, after much pursuasion, they then allow, I hope such don't repeat and having the COI above, I really need both of your help to finish the judging in a fair manner,both in act and perceived. I can't really say much as I know mine also have redlinks but if I may being a little biased I will say let's just ignore for this round, I know BRP is also concerned about that but I mean we lack Asian pages, if not then we unlink for the time being? Although we don't typically. Well I think for the sake of WAM I am keen to ignore, it's not GA just a patrolled article, seeing other versions their articles aren't totally tag free either, I can tag some zh or bn ones too, but they accepted, so I suggest we follow? Just checking in any issues with judging, we left 3 days to finish. I will need the scores to be up by 31 Dec preferably by 0000 UTC latest by 1200 UTC. The reason is that after all the scores are tallied, I will then do the finishing touches by sending pass/fail message via the fountain tool to participants (the message can be seen via last year page, I intend to reuse - any objections? Wikipedia_talk:Wikipedia_Asian_Month/2019#Sample congrats message <-- here (asking for objections as last year the language was questioned and we fixed)), update the meta pages (we have 3-4 pages on meta to update the scores). Reminder: My articles need to be judged by one other organizer, so is either you or @BRPever:. Manda, Jammu is the one that I cannot judge whatsoever and if there is 1 article pending, we cannot process the entire WAM. I.e. the system won't close, we cannot award the others. The WAM international team wants us to collect winners info by 1/11 Jan (1st round / final round), so we have to get to it ASAP. If you aren't able to do so, please tell me ASAP so that I can ask for another active user help (i.e. add them to the judges list and help assess). I noticed that you manually added this category to your user page. I looked at Template:User yue-3 and saw that it wasn't adding the category automatically like other user language templates, so I changed it. The only problem I think it might cause is that you might get people asking for help with a lot of language-related stuff! This wouldn't be considered hat collecting; that refers to getting privileges and rights, not to letting people know what your skills are. Review Japan-related article?

Hello, Netto-uyoku seems to be a political movement in Japan, of the (far?) right spectrum. There's an article on EnWP, and we do have the lede of that article. When I edited it yesterday, I tried to do some simplifications (shorter sentences, mostly). I am however still unclear as to the true nature of the movement - are we looking at a group similar to Anonymous (group), or more like en:Les Identitaires? - As you seem to be interested in Japan-related articles, you are probably in a better position to assess the nature of the group. Zeshan Khan

It is always worth looking up the record of a doubtful biog before putting it to RfD. This biog has been QD's seven times by two different admins. It is obviously an advert by an interested party (person himself, relative or PR agent). It makes no attempt at justification, and will eventually be deleted. Unfortunately by then the person will have got the name copied onto all data bases and achieved a large part of what they intended. RfD is for cases where there is some grounds for doubt. On RfD a name will stay up for one or two months before deletion even when it is quite obvious what the result will be. I want to be clear: it is absolutely proper to put up any page to RfD. However, it is not always sensible. What I do is check the history first, and often I check the history on En wiki as well. Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:19, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

I have something to tell you. I found who is Sugaru (not Tsugaru) but in Japanese, I think they are almost same:). Well, it's a Japanese god catcher who served for the Japanese emperor. Technically they can run non-stop but it would depend on what it's approved tasks are. This bot will run once a day on a schedule and will not require any interaction from me as it will be scheduled on the cron tab and the cron jobs run on a FIFO basis. Archive navigator

I don’t see a archive template on here. What that does is allows your archive to be seen and search. On EN:Template:Archives there are some options you can view and if we don’t have it here, feel free to ping me and let me know which one you want and I can bring it over to simple. So I did that with a copy of your user template so I have no way to compare placement. That is because the top half is 1/2 template and the other 1/2 is on this page. It is easier to have everything on one page and call the template. So everything from the top to the comments area could be in a template (but do not put the archiving code (miszabot/config) in the config. Ok I fixed it for you. Because it is in a template, it needed the full path to the archive plus it was written as Archives 1, but it is actually Archive 1. Since you opted in to have only one archive page I added a pipe display name to it. You should be good now if you want to check it out.
