I don't know if you are aware, but italics are used for books, albums, tv series, films, but songs are not put into italics and are instead put in speech marks in text like "In the Summertime". This also means the italictitle template shouldn't be used on song articles. Thanks :). --IWI (talk) 19:50, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

I see. I remember that the Regular English Wikipedia adopted italics as an option for song titles a few years back when doing so began to catch on in the wider world, but I guess Simple has not done so. Still, I'd vote for it if it ever comes up. It avoids that fraught British/American divide on comma placement. Darkfrog24 (talk) 19:53, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
It did not. The guideline is the same on the English Wikipedia. See en:List of best-selling singles for examples. --IWI (talk) 19:56, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Huh. Could have sworn it had. Darkfrog24 (talk) 20:01, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
It is the case for long works like albums and books, but not short works. Enwiki's manual of style states:

Use italics for the titles of works (such as books, films, television series, named exhibitions, computer games, music albums, and paintings). The titles of articles, chapters, songs, episodes, research papers and other short works instead take double quotation marks.

though it is an easy mistake to make :) --IWI (talk) 20:03, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
GASP You used the M-word!! Now by the laws of the Internet, we must duel to the death. Choose your weapon, sirrah!
I kid, of course. Yes, I know all about long-form vs short-form title presentation. I simply approve of using italics for songs because of the problems doing so avoids. But it is Project Wiki's duty to reflect the English language as it is and not attempt to change it by promoting one practice over others for no reason. Darkfrog24 (talk) 20:11, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Lol. Yeah if you disagree you can discuss it, but that is currently the guideline that should be followed. --IWI (talk) 21:23, 7 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Making an RfD for an article

Hello! You added an RfD template to a page (World development foundation) but didn't create a request or add it to the RfD page. I have put the article you nominated up on the RfD page and added a discussion page. Many thanks, Belwine💬📜 16:05, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've noticed you've seen the RfD already, sorry for putting a comment after you posted on there... Belwine💬📜 16:06, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
You're just being extra conscientious. I noticed this morning and went through my old changes to see which other ones I'd missed. I saw you'd taken initiative on that. It's all rightly done. Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:33, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Also, please remember to add any RfDs you start to the RfD page. A couple you started today weren’t and they can end up being "ghost RfDs" that nobody can see if nobody catches them. Thanks, --IWI (talk) 16:47, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Okay, real issue. How do I add them to the page? What I've done so far is click on the "Click here to create a discussion page" and then doing so. What's the extra step needed to make them appear on RfD Central? Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:50, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Add the page name in template brackets on the page like: {{Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/requests/2021/blah}}. Same as the others on the page. Alternatively, you can use Twinkle to automate the process. --IWI (talk) 16:58, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Never mind. Got it. Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:58, 9 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Data Deficient...

Hello Darkfrog24, I recently created the page Data deficient. It also shows a frog, which hasn't been seen since 1989. Can you have a quick look? - If you find a better example than the frog, feel free to replace the image.Thanks--Eptalon (talk) 23:56, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Good call. The golden toad isn't data deficient. It's considered extinct. The problem is that most data deficient species won't have pictures available. I'll see what I can do. Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:06, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
I created a redirect for "Data Deficient" (I think we might want to move the page there eventually), and clicked "what links here." Most of my DD froggies don't have pictures available, but turns out the megamouth shark does! We've also got the coconut crab and a bunch of shrews and other mammals to choose from. Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:15, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Added a picture of a chameleon of Madagascar. The coconut crab is listed as "vulnerable" at EnWP...--Eptalon (talk) 00:45, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
I checked the IUCN Red List and updated Simple's Coconut crab article to show its actual status. The Red List entry was marked "2020," so perhaps it was DD until recently. Darkfrog24 (talk) 03:54, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Romani People article

Hello and Thank you for your improving for Romani people articles...

I found something, should we introduce in the page antiziganism? I think it would be important isnt it?

See: https://bianet.org/english/militarism/243567-suspicious-death-of-soldier-on-parliamentary-agenda

https://stockholmcf.org/roma-conscript-dies-under-suspicious-circumstances-following-hate-speech-by-his-commander/

(Nalanidil (talk) 11:10, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I don't have time to read them right now, but they look like news articles about specific, recent incidents.
In my opinion, Antiziganism should contain either the most famous times a Roma person has been harmed for being Roma or general descriptions of the kind of thing that happens to Roma people because of antiziganism. For example, laws forbidding Roma people to come to or live in certain places, and laws that permitted other people to harm them. Darkfrog24 (talk) 11:14, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, as I understand in the Articles, this young man was hatred because he was a Roma

Nalanidil (talk) 12:22, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes. I think the rule here is WP:NOT. The Wikipedia article should not contain every example of anti-ziganism. It should only contain the very most famous examples from history. Darkfrog24 (talk) 19:01, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thought....

Could be a problem but it could also be a noob or teenager who just needs a clue. My goal is to keep things harmless. Darkfrog24 (talk) 22:45, 3 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yeah that is why I explained things as simply as I could without trying to be derogatory or degrading. PDLTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 22:46, 3 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm not a teenager or noob, the point is that some articles have been there for several years without a source, but have not been deleted. But I am told, I have to find sources, even the sources that I bring are not enough for the article.

Nalanidil (talk) 23:12, 3 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

That's because Baba Yaga and Baba Fingo look similar but they're not. The question we ask about articles is "Does a source for this exist?" That's the rule, that the source must exist. Technically we don't have to list a source unless the content of the article is "challenged or likely to be challenged." Because Baba Yaga is so famous, because almost everyone who sees the article has already seen a source about Baba Yaga somewhere else first, no one asks for Baba Yaga to be deleted.
For me, probably for many English speakers, this article will be the first time they have ever heard of Baba Fingo. That's why it needs sources, while Baba Yaga merely would be better with sources.
That is a real problem, though. There are many articles on Simple for which the source is not listed. In fact, some months ago, we had a Big Weekend source drive in which we all went around adding sources to articles. I think I added fifteen to Red Riding Hood alone! Darkfrog24 (talk) 23:27, 3 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Sources

Hi Darkfrog24. When you add sources to an article, you want to verify they match what you are talking about and if they do, when you add them to the article, you should change the access-date to the date you read it. I noticed on Baby Yaga you added sources, but left the access-date of 2017. PDLTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 15:51, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

@PotsdamLamb: Well of course they should. To the best of my knowledge, I always make sure the source matches the fact that I want it to support.
In the specific case of Baba Yaga, that's a typo. Today is June 4, 2021. The "June 4, 2017" is a typo. More concerning, have you seen a source I've added that looked like it didn't support the on-Wiki text? If so, I'll fix it immediately. Darkfrog24 (talk) 15:56, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
I don't typically dive into sources, but I can. Which one are you talking about? I also edited the dates and changed 'acceesdate' to 'access-date'. Remember the format should always be DMY. PDLTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 16:08, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
(talk page stalker) @PotsdamLamb: What are you referring to when you say dates should always be DMY? Dates should be in the format used by the article as a whole, which should never be DMY. DMY dates are problematic because they are often ambiguous. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Potsdamlamb, when you said "When you add sources to an article, you want to verify they match what you are talking about," it sounded like you'd seen a case in which I had somehow failed to do so. This surprised me because I'm usually pretty careful about that. It sounds like you haven't actually seen one, though, so we're good.
Auntof6, yes, I had thought there was more than one correct option for order of dates here on Simple. Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:29, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Auntof6 That is the way the citation creator puts them in it is always DMY. They shouldn't be to ambiguous if it is done right such as 5 June 2021. PDLTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 16:31, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oh, right. I was thinking all-numeric dates, like 01-02-2021. If you spell out the month, it's not ambiguous. But in any case, they should match the article's format. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:37, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
When I started on Simple I just copied what I saw here, which was the unambiguous "month-as-word, day-as-number, four-digit-year." I think we can conclude that the system I recommended to Nilandil was one of several correct options. Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:39, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Oh good god no! That is confusing even to me lol. I do know they need to fix that access-date issue in the citation fixer though. It still puts things in with the depreciated parameters. I don't know where to post that, probably the tech wiki where I get my weekly tech news from? PDLTalk to me!OMG, What have I done? 16:41, 4 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Ok. (I keep forgetting what my ip adress is). What sandbox rule?

Darkfrog24 (talk) 15:14, 6 June 2021 (UTC) [comment moved by Darkfrog24] Please don't delete it. It was my first page on simple Wikipedia. You said to make it better but on the main page of simple Wikipedia it says you don't have to worry about making your articles good because other people will make it better. And do all pages have to be articles?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.44.239.160 (talkcontribs) 15:43, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

One, please put your comments at the bottom of the page and not the top.
About "don't worry about making the article good because someone else will fix it" should be more specific. What really happens is "Don't worry about making the article perfect because someone else might fix it if they feel like it." The article does have to be good enough to start.
One rule is this: A source proving that the article is true has to exist. Even if the source isn't in the article when it's first made, it has to exist in the world. If there's no source anywhere, then it shouldn't be an article here. For example, the person who started the article Iris (asteroid) didn't list any sources. But I found one and added it.
We're thinking about deleting Cat racism because it looks like there are no sources that say "cat racism is a real thing AND it's what the article says it is."
I think you could find a source saying "Black cats are the least likely to be adopted from shelters." I think you could find a source saying "People used to think black cats had to do with witches." But I don't think there is a source that says "And that is cat racism; that's the general term in the English language for this."
My first Wikipedia article was deleted too. Darkfrog24 (talk) 15:52, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
I took the liberty of starting a Sandbox page (practice page) to show you what I mean. Remember, improving the article Cat is something you can do if you want to. You don't owe Simple your time or work. Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:10, 6 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

You can alsoways nominate it; worst case it gets kept...--Eptalon (talk) 00:26, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Nah. The "it wasn't simplified [enough]" is my objection to it. It doesn't have that many other problems: It doesn't seem unsourced. It doesn't seem too promotional. If you don't think it's too complex to be deleted, then it's likely an RfD would just waste everyone's time.
Don't worry. You know I'm not shy about posting RfDs when I think they're needed. Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:31, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I'm not mad if that's what you're worried about. The fact that Dub agrees with you also indicates that an RfD would not be a good use of everyone's time. Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:35, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Its not about being mad (or anything), I just looked at the list of QDs and found the two pages. In asome cases, doing an RfD makes sense. In the two cases (this one, and the one dirctly above) we are looking at 3-sentence stubs...--Eptalon (talk) 00:41, 14 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Renaming Category:Slaves...

Hello, in my opinion, you'll probably be unsucccessful getting Category:Slaves renamed to Enslaved people. In the past, I have worked on a few of these topics; in very short terms: what we have is too focused on how the situation was when they officially abolished slavery (or shortly after that). What our articles don't show is that there are several "working conditions" which are very similar to the concept of slavery. Of course, naming is different, and you won't find many sources on these new concepts. If you are interested: Any article in the Category:Slavery may we worth a look (Perhaps even Categoy:Child labour). But keep in mind, that most of the articxles we have will not reflect the current situation...--Eptalon (talk) 19:41, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

But it definitely won't get changed if I don't even ask, right? .
I make my case. I publicize it properly. I walk away. If it becomes flat-out incorrect to say "slaves," then I might get more strident about it, but the English language isn't at that point right now. Darkfrog24 (talk) 20:26, 20 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

questions about the Single parent page

why is the Single parent page on Simple English Wikipedia in need of being copy edited? Are there some words in the article which are not simple? What's wrong? Angela Kate Maureen 19:46, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

I initially did mark it with the {{Simplify}} tag, but then I realized that the problem is not that the words are too complex. Some of them are, but the main problem is that the article generally needs correct English and neatening. For example, the text said "less lively" when it should have said "less likely." To an experienced English reader, it's obvious that that's just a typo, but our audience is new English readers. That's the sort of thing I mean: Little mistakes that we fix by copy editing.
I would have just jumped in and fixed it myself, but I had something else I had to do right then. Darkfrog24 (talk) 19:51, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
Another question: why don't we need "the" in the page headers? Angela Kate Maureen 20:19, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure why, actually. That's a style question. I do know that the Simple English Wikipedia Style Guide is not the only one that says to leave out the word "The." It's a fairly normal thing in professional and business-style English. It's not flat-out wrong to use "The," I don't think, but I can't remember the last time I saw a professional piece of writing use it. Darkfrog24 (talk) 20:23, 23 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Mr. Hindi: Short answer, these sources are better than nothing but they can't do the work by themselves.
  1. I have trouble figuring out what this source is saying. It might be good or it might not. Does this really prove he was nominated for that award?
  2. Waterstones is just a bookstore. It establishes that the book exists, who wrote it, what year, but, by itself, it does not establish notability.
  3. Same. The book depository source shows that the book exists, but does not show that the author is important.
  4. If Educreation is the publisher of A Peerless Gem, then the rule is en:WP:ABOUTSELF. Again, it shows that the book is real but does not show that the book is notable or important.
The best kind of source for proving notability is newspaper articles. Are there any newspaper articles about this author or his books? Did the Guardian do a book review? Go to Google Scholar and see if any academics wrote papers about his books. Did any university professors cite this author as an influence on other writers?
Sometimes people write articles about artists or performers or organizations on Wikipedia because they want those people and things to become famous and get more clients and customers. But Wikipedias only want articles about things that are already kind of famous. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:48, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I put "Brij Kishore Sharma" in Google and clicked on "news." Is the "former cabinet minister" in this Times of India article the same person? What about the chairman in this Outlook India article? Are any of the "BK Sharma" authors on this Google Scholar page the same person? Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:57, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Mr. Hindi: I got your email but I would prefer to have this conversation on-Wiki. I don't happen to want to research and improve this article. This is an all volunteer project and well all get to decide which articles we work on and when. I'll gladly show you how to improve the article yourself if you want me to. For mni

For mni Wikipedia, I decided to take part in the "Wiki Loves Women South Asia". Here's the main page I have recently created. mni:ꯋꯤꯀꯤꯄꯦꯗꯤꯌꯥ:ꯋꯤꯀꯤꯅ ꯅꯨꯡꯁꯤ ꯈꯥ ꯑꯦꯁꯤꯌꯥꯒꯤ ꯅꯨꯄꯤꯁꯤꯡ/꯲꯰꯲꯱ What are the other things I should do? Haoreima (talk) 14:27, 12 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

  1. You should say "hooray for me!"
  2. You should go to the main page on Meta and add the mni Wikipedia to the list of communities: [1]
  3. You should make a Fountain Page for the mni.wiki part of the contest: [2]
  4. You should make a template {{WLW2021}}
  5. You should go to the mni.wiki's Village Pump or biggest talk page and ask for other mni.wikipedians to be jurors/judges and contest participants.
Good luck! Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:37, 12 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have done all except no. 2 and no. 3. Because none are joining till now (though some assured me that they will join). But can I, besides being a local organizer, participate in the contest (for which I don't have to join jury members)? Haoreima (talk) 04:24, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I do not know for sure because I am not one of the main organizers at Meta (definitely ask them), but I do not think so, especially because you would be judging your own work. I am not submitting my own articles to the contest, and there IS another juror who could mark them. Darkfrog24 (talk) 10:47, 13 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely, and even if such permission is granted, still, we can't run the contest as none is joining still now. Mni's case is exactly like her Urdu counterpart ur:ویکیپیڈیا:ویکی محبوب خواتین، جنوبی ایشیا 2021ء. I am so sorry, no hurrah, but still thank you for informing me about such great event. Haoreima (talk) 13:47, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Would it help if we wrote Simple English articles here on Simple and then people at Mni translated those insted of en.wiki's? I just did Medusa with the Head of Perseus in Simple English. Darkfrog24 (talk) 13:51, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I don't know what people in mni think about this idea as none is participating till now. But let's inform this to @Awangba Mangang, Luwanglinux, Afingba Mangang, ꯴꯰꯴, and ApakNga: (some mni Wikipedians whose accounts exist in simple wiki too) to know about their opinion about this new plan! Haoreima (talk) 15:39, 14 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hey Darkfrog! I saw the "female legendary creatures" is mentioned in the WLW2021 page. Regarding that case, are Lai Khutsangbi and Yenakha Paodabi eligible for the contest? I am little bit confused, because these legendary creatures are females of South Asia but not related to women's empowerment! Haoreima (talk) 13:12, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
The main organizers said "female legendary creatures," so I say "female legendary creatures." Women's empowerment is also about representation.
Imagine you are watching a kids' cartoon and all the monsters are male OR there are only one or two female monsters and they're both the sexy type. Not good, right? They did this with the Minions movies not long ago: all the Minions were dudes. Darkfrog24 (talk) 13:25, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
So, do you mean "yes"? Are they eligible? Haoreima (talk) 13:54, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Haoreima: Yes! Very eligible! Darkfrog24 (talk) 15:20, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Wiki Loves Women South Asia 2021

@Darkfrog24: I am a participant of Wiki Loves Women South Asia 2021. I have created a page on Savitribai Phule in my sandbox[3]. Please let me know who is going to review my page and how can I enter my name on fountain under this comptition.--Prajjwal3959 (talk) 13:03, 22 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Prajjwal3959:
1) ImprovedWikiImprovement or myself will mark it for the purposes of the contest.
2) You can put the article into Fountain by moving it to mainspace and posting {{WLW2021}} on its talk page.
3) The article must follow all of Simple's own rules. Right now, the English is regular English, not simple English. Darkfrog24 (talk) 14:22, 22 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Darkfrog24: I am unable to move my page [4] from sandbox. I don't know why is it. Can you please move it on my behalf after reviewing. Suggestions are welcome.--Prajjwal3959 (talk) 04:56, 23 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Prajjwal3959: You are unable to move as you are a new user. Please wait 2 more days and make at least 30 good edits. If you think it is really ready enough, please request a move from any (auto)confirmed user.

Patrolling

I noticed that you marked Fireflies (film) as patrolled. (It has since been moved to Fireflies (movie).) However, that article still needed and still needs work. Some of the issues are:

  • It needs simplifying.
  • It needs copy editing for grammar, unclear phrasing, and formatting (for example, unnecessary use of bolding in the article).
  • It needs better categorization. For example, it's about a movie, but there is no movie-related category on it.
  • The two sections at the end are in the wrong order; the references section comes before the other websites section.

I'm not sure what things you check when you patrol, but these things need to be considered before marking articles as patrolled. If you aren't going to take care of them yourself, you could at least flag the article as needing attention. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 05:18, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

(talk page stalker) Darkfrog24 Don't worry, Darkfrog! I will solve all these issues very soon, if possible, by taking help from every possibly able people. But I have a question for you. If an article is already submitted to fountain before end of September, but not accepted due to some complexity of the language, then if we redevelop it better (after September ends), is that article still eligible for the WLW? Haoreima (talk) 12:17, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yes, Haoreima, we are to re-mark the contest entries if they are improved by the end of September 29. @Auntof6:, that's why I'm doing things a little differently here: Per Simple's rules, I could just go in and do the simplification process myself, but per the Wiki Loves Women 2021 contest rules, I'm not. As of October 1, I'm free to do simplification, etc. myself, as usual. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:24, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
By the end of September 29? Do you mean articles redeveloped after September 29 aren't accepted? Is that what you mean? I don't understand! Haoreima (talk) 12:39, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
The contest ends at midnight UTC on September 29. ImprovedWikiImprovement and I have until the end of October to mark all the entries, but the contestants only have until the end of September to make their entries. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:43, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I mean for example, Ima Keithel is submitted before September 29 but not accepted. If I redeveloped this after September 29, will it be accepted for the contest? Haoreima (talk) 12:45, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
I don't think so, but just to be sure, I'll ask at the Meta page. I think you have to do all the work during September. After that, the only prize you can win is the satisfaction of making an excellent article on feminism for the Simple English Wikipedia's readers. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:49, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Sure! Waiting for your reply! Haoreima (talk) 12:51, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I meant to say midnight on September 30. I asked over at Meta. [6] Auntof6, I thought about what you said, and I'll be even more careful about patrol standards during the contest. Darkfrog24 (talk) 12:53, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't have anything to do with the contest. Those things need to be checked all the time. The purpose of patrolling is to make sure a page is in good shape and has everything it should. If it doesn't, the options are to fix it, tag it, or leave it unpatrolled. If you aren't prepared to do that, then you don't need to patrol. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:48, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
Yes, that's more or less what I said. Don't worry. We're on the same page. Darkfrog24 (talk) 22:24, 26 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Login issue

I saw problem in logging in for the fountain page of simple English right now. How shall it be fixed? Haoreima (talk) 14:43, 30 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Darkfrog24: Please resolve this problem as soon as possible.--Prajjwal3959 (talk) 15:42, 30 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Fountaion issue has been fixed

@Darkfrog24: As fountain issue has been fixed, should we now upload our articles that have not been submitted yet?--Prajjwal3959 (talk) 08:19, 3 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, you should. The organizers at Meta say you have until October 3 to do this. Darkfrog24 (talk) 10:57, 3 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much Darkfrog24.--Prajjwal3959 (talk) 16:02, 3 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

A Frog

Hello Darkfrog24! I saw this en:Raorchestes manipurensis and I want to bring it here at simple wiki. Could you help me expand this article as it contains only a few information of around only 1 small paragraph? Can we expand it by adding some info? Haoreima (talk) 15:17, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely. See the first source they have listed? That's the Amphibian Species of the World database, hosted by the American Museum of Natural History (If you ever visit New York and can visit only one museum go to that one!! The Statue of Liberty is just a big statue.) If you scroll down on that page, you'll see "External Links." Most frogs have an IUCN entry there, but this one doesn't. Click on "Amphibiaweb Report." If there's anything to know about this froggie, it'll be in there!
I will add, many of the frog articles I write are only one small paragraph, usually because scientists don't know much about them yet. Darkfrog24 (talk) 17:50, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
It seems this froggie was discovered in 2009 and has only a small Amphibiaweb entry... The scientific paper in which it was first described (formally written about by scientists) is at [7]. Probably paywalled, though. Darkfrog24 (talk) 17:56, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
