FC Sheriff Tiraspol
Fotbal Club Sheriff Tiraspol, commonly known as Sheriff Tiraspol or simply Sheriff, is a professional football club based in Tiraspol, a city in the unrecognised breakaway state of Transnistria. They currently play in the Super Liga, the top tier of Moldovan football. The club was originally founded as Tiras Tiraspol in 1997, and rebranded to Sheriff Tiraspol the next year. They have won 21 Moldovan National Division titles, 12 Moldovan Cups, and seven Super Cups, more than any other club.
