I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1981. In 1990, I was adopted and moved to East Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Lancaster. I attended both Catholic and public school during my childhood and adolescence. I joined the Army on September 27, 1999 and stayed at Fort Benning, Georgia for basic training. I graduated on February 11, 2000 and stayed at Fort Benning for another six years. I have also served at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and am currently stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas. Additionally, I have been deployed to Camp Monteith, Kosovo, Forward Operating Base Justice, and Camp Liberty, Iraq. I have been married for five years, with an adorable two year-old son.

I am a diehard fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, and exhiliarated that the Curse of Billy Penn is lifted with the Phillies' 2008 World Series championship. I am also a dedicated fan of my hometown teams: the Lancaster Barnstormers, the Lancaster Liberty, and the Hershey Bears.
