Wow, I've been packed. Between racing, working on my book, and managing these two websites, I haven't had the time I previously hoped to have to edit when I came here. Oh, well, I suppose it's not that bad. I will pop in occasionally, though, so watch for me. --Gp75motorsports REV LIMITER 10:40, 29 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Gp75motorsports, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia!

You should begin by reading these:

If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Remember to edit any pages you want! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Melbourne Central Shopping Center change

I removed the speedy deletion tag. If you look at the en wiki article, this shopping center features about 390 stores. It seems quite notable, even though I've never heard of it. You probably have not either, unless you live in that area, but that does not make a topic non-notable. Jonas D. Rand T 21:01, 25 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make useful changes to Wikipedia. Wikicup change

Hi, thanks for signing up for it, however, you chose the same flage as Samehk, and you can only have a country (or state) one. Could you please choose another one. Thanks. Yotcmdr Sign up for the wikicup =talk= 16:03, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wikicup Entry change

Hi, just a note, for the main wikicup you should really change away from the USA. I think we are going to run them separately and you have to opt-in to it, and you can have any country you like, different from your main team.
FastReverter changed you to Madagascar as well, so you might want to change.
Finally, we're thinking a continents cup rather than a Nation's cup, as it would make things easier.
Cheers,
BG7even 20:53, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Am I not team UK? ;) Essentially it doesn't bother me; as long as the articles get written. :) PeterSymonds (talk) 23:32, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ahem... change

I refer to this and this. The first one I find completely offensive and inappropriate - furthermore I believe it violates NPA. I am VERY offended as I already said. What exactly are your problems with me and Gwib? Just because we think it is a bad idea you want to get rid of us? This is for the good of the encyclopedia. Your second point says there is consensus for it. Clearly there isn't. I have seen one clear for !vote and several against !votes - both onwiki and IRC - and that too me is consensus against it. As I said, it can happen next year. Just not now. People are losing the point of the wiki through it and it's just not thought out well enough. Are you annoyed because it was your idea? If you want it to happen, then consider creating your own wiki and making it there. But once you give an idea here, others can change it, use it, and cancel it to their own liking. And we've decided that it's not going to work. Thank you, BG7even 13:48, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well he could run it separately, and it would have nothing to do with the editors cup you are judging. I also don't think he ment replace you, but have more than 2. Thanks, Yotcmdr Sign up for the wikicup =talk= 16:59, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
That's not how I took it. If it is meant that way, then clarification of that point would be nice. If he does want to run it separately I can't stop him from running it, but if so it should be clearly shown that they are not related (editor's and nation's), have different titles and not use the same formats. It is simply easier to leave it until next year!!!
BG7even 17:41, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Well I like the idea, and I don't like the idea of having to wait a whole year but I can't see another option. Yotcmdr Sign up for the wikicup =talk= 17:50, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
As i've said, I think the idea is good in principle, but it needs a year to be sorted out. The only other options I see have all bee raised, but they all have flaws that some could see - and editor running it, it being run separately etc. In all honesty a year isn't that long and these things should happen one stage at a time - a SEWP Wikicup hasn't run at all before, so we should get the main one sorted first. Thanks, BG7even 18:04, 16 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Userpage change

Hi, would you consider altering your userpage here for the better? Best, NonvocalScream (talk) 14:25, 30 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jon, would you consider not bossing people around and telling them what they can and cannot put on their userpages? I think he should add to that "a place where an administrator can create a sockpuppet, be deceptive and evasive when asked who you are, and get to be user page police". Jonas D. Jonas, this is between Gp75 and I. I was very civil, thank you. NonvocalScream (talk) 01:09, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Whats the problem here? Synergy 01:17, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
There is no problem. Jon asked Gp75 politely to modify his userpage, and Jonas got offended and angry for no reason. Majorly talk 01:22, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Gp75, the only reason I asked for you to change, is because I want you to be able to contribute wherever you would like. I don't know the policies or rules here, I'm not active here. I want to be careful not to intrude on this project. You don't have to change it. I'm only asking. Very best! NonvocalScream (talk) 01:24, 31 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
