List of popes
list of the heads of the Catholic Church
(Redirected from Pope Leo V)
The list of popes begins with St. Peter and continues through the present day.[1] The pope is the head of the Catholic Church.
Peter was called the Bishop of Rome.[2] All others who became Bishop of Rome were also recognized as popes.
Chronological list of popes
changeThe list sometimes says interregnum. This is Latin for "between reigns". It means there was no Pope; as in a Pope had died, and his successor hadn't yet been elected.
